Trust

Trust is Fleeting aka means you can lose it fast. I’ve met many people in my life and travels and only a few I can trust. Now I always start off open to building with the real kats but in the end I end up falling back to where I was at. It’s nothing personal really it’s just you want to see where most kats heads are at and when you find out they are on some I can beat you, I’m going to talk about you, I’m going to secretly hate on you then you know you have to roll on.
Now I’m cool with most people I run into but it only takes one little word for me to think I need to fall back. Most kats don’t realize that I listen that much but they should as I can repeat what they said verbatim. See most of these kats are not true with theirselves so they can never be true to you. It’s like you find out they are thieves and you told them where you keep your stash. It always shocks me how most kats who don’t trust people actually seek out kats who they can trust. They only became non trusting due to running into some many Suckers that they just say fvck it and say I guess no one can be trusted. I think that’s where I fall into the game as I don’t mind chopping it up but so many thieves are around you end up holding back.
I remember when I had a roommate in college and he thought I was stealing from him. Instead of this kat asking me straight up this kat tried to hide a video camera in the room. Of course I found it and confronted him about it and he then confessed. I thought me and homie was cool as I know I never stole anything that I could hustle up for myself. From that point on though I fell back and even found someplace else to live after a couple of months. Now I’m sure he was just checking on his shit and I understand that but the fact that you think you are going to pull a episode of cheaters on my ass left a bad taste in my mouth.
Such is life in this game we try to build in. Most kats who say they don’t trust people usually can’t be trusted theirselves. It’s like the devil not trusting other devils. But, for those of us who had to dodge all the Suckers in this game you learn that the majority of people are on some thieving angle towards these chips and thus you can’t trust them with the dollar water hustle. They’ll steal that rebrand it and then say they invented it or go out and try it saying they are doing real shit.
I’ve been lucky enough to build up enough true kats to roll with and build with from coast to coast and out of the country. We haven’t lived around each other for years but we still talk money and how we want to build. But, on the day to day homie I don’t find too many I can trust. In fact I find more people who don’t trust theirselves.

I take a page from the successful immigrants that I know….lay low…pretend to be a pauper…only build with like minded-younger family member’s or a dedicated syndicate that develops businesses for your race.
Black folks are missing that second one.
Since most of us have been living hand to mouth only a few will look up and plan for the future. The majority of us just want our kids to go to school to get a better job on the plantation.
We are missing the main ingredient to Hustle and that is creating something for yourself. Until we put that thought into the matrix we are doomed to be part of something instead of starting something.
I do the same thing Omega does, lay low and let them think what they will I learned years ago never to peacock. The first thing some people will do is try to get what you have instead of building. And you are right Freeman so many have lived hand to mouth they still see a struggle.
Like I said thieves. They think by gaining your trust you will give them the game. So if you’re used to seeing these angles you really feel like the world is a thief.
You got to be above surviving to thrive. Otherwise it’s a big jump to go from needing to being content.
Man, this shit is real. I started my own movement on my own few years back. Did all the ground work from the music, clothing, promoting, branding & marketing. Spent big bucks on websites & logos, the whole 9. The buzz began to grow after a few months of hardwork & consistency. Things begin to get overwhelming though so thats when i decided to put a few of my so called “patnas” on to help me out. Next thing i know things moving w/ out me & they calling meetings to kick me off. Re-creating the logo in which i design just so they can say they did it. Craziest shit ever. Most cats nowadays aint loyal as you think. They’re so caught up in “winning” or being “on” that they lose sight of the original process, along with morals & principles of men.
Bruh, you will be lucky to find anyone who is cool with you making money and them not having any part of it. That’s why as you get more seasoned you just hire strangers as vendors to do their job and you eventually cannot talk about chips with people who saw you come up.
I learned a long long time ago if a kat is willing to cross me for a chic he’ll cross me for my chips!
