Background Check

I go through them damn near every time I get a gig. Kats are checking for the dates in which I worked and then checking to see if what I say is real. Since the majority of my adult life I have been doing for self there’s really nothing to go back to. My references are from kats I worked with. I don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors as I can’t make money if I had those in the business I’m in. My old bosses are damn near a decade old now so WTF can they really tell anyone about me. Lastly, it’s just a formality as they wouldn’t check your background unless you are ready to go.
Yet, it’s still a hassle to take a piss test and show some urine specialist in Seattle that my piss is cleansed and purified like Zero Water. I usually come correct and have every kind of ID a mawfvcker could ever want to see like Birth Certificate, Passport and SSN card. I try to be complete and through during this process. But, what these kats don’t really know or pay attention to is I have already been questioned by the FBI to work so if there was something to hide I’m sure the Feds would’ve told them already.
I wish they would just take the last sample from the last kats but I guess they need to see if I got HERRON in my veins. I understand from a business point of view as you want to check to see if I am whatever I say I am BUT if I wasn’t then why would I say I am. Either way it’s a formality to the chips and the higher you get on the plantation they more they want a blood sample to the game. Shit I even sign confidentiality agreements and No Compete papers nowadays. The game done gone crazy but I get it.
Shit, I need to start a background, drug screening, tough question company and sell my services to the higher plantation. This shit is a hassle so I might as well think of a way to capitalize on it.

Yea, background checks are just a formailty. But I remember when I was younger and working BS summer/afterschool jobs, the formalities were much less stringent. Nowadays, I’m working at places where they want a blood test, FBI background check and even want a breakdown of what investments you currently have. So I feel you on the seemingly never ending stack of papers that need to be signed when the job/contract offer comes through.
The more serious the job, the more serious the formalities.
HAHA while you playing, I have a patna out here and he has been looking in to how to start a drug screening business. I figure there has to be some money in it since one has to take a drug test for any job nowadays.
@MCD85 – It does seem that way as all kind of don’t take the secrets to my empire papers get pushed in my face. Ain’t it funny that the kats on the lower rungs actually do the work but the owners ain’t worried about them stealing anything? I find that amazing as I was the kat on the lower rung who did piece together the game as they just were showing me all the money.
It is what it is but sometimes I want to just piss, spit, bleed into a place where I can tell them my shit is over here so stop asking me have I committed a felony. The shit is irritating.
@JClark – Bruh, it dawned on me the same way. I was doing some research on that drug test game as it’s just pee in a cup and see you later. I mean you can get some nurses to do the specimen tests and then you can break out. I have to do some recon and see what’s really involved.
In what B2B situation is a piss test/background check needed? I’ve sold real estate and owned retail outlets…being your own boss is just that…no piss test needed.
I’m confused..aren’t you self employed/own your own business?
Jonah thank you for contribution but I also consult. So when you are conducting business with people and especially involving the government these tests are required.

Being at the bottom of the employee ladder, the most I’ve had to give was police clearance and employee reference checks. My old clients would act like previous employers for the gigs I did for them. When doing property management I had to screen tenants, it was simple. Call landlords, roommates, employers etc with standard questions. Credit check cant be much harder. On employment papers for police background check it was a $25 fee they take out of your pay, and if you go to the station in advance it cost $35 and you have to state it’s for employment purposes. I’ve never seen the credit check process but I’m sure it’s as quick and easy as the other checks. I don’t know if temp agencies do their own, but maybe you could contract that service with them, as well because they have higher turnover than actual job spots. Crazy enough man I NEVER thought of this angle.
An extra one is athletes need the blood/piss test too, but most federations have their own scientists that come and do it. Who knows though it might be different for you guys. Example; OPA(Ontario Physique Association) has lab people test athletes for roids for natural bodybuilding competitions. They have a competition every few months because of different sponsors/athletes etc. At each show you may have 10-25 athletes each division(womens,wieght etc) and 10 divisions each show. EACH athlete has to be tested and that’s Pro AND amateur! One province can have multiple associations and then you have provincials,nationals etc. That’s just for natural bodybuilding. It’s bigger where you guys are I’m sure. Any drug testing facility could give you the info Im guessing
