Gift of Game – Holiday Plug

First, let me thank everyone who already purchased Dollar15 as it has reached more people than I anticipated through word of mouth and cosigns all over the world. Second, for those of you who haven’t purchased it right now is better than tomorrow will ever be. Lastly, I want to make this last pitch for the Xmas season to buy the book as a gift for someone else.
In my lifetime the best gifts have usually been the timely gifts. Usually that gift was something that I didn’t know I needed but changed me once I had it. A bike opened up the world for me. My car opened up my world outside of Los Angeles. A lot of wisdom helped me to piece together a action plan to go through school. And, lastly people who reassured me when I didn’t know what I was doing in life kept me aggressively moving forward. Such is the way of great gifts and timely gifts.
Dollar15 to me is that timely great gift to anyone you know who doesn’t know the way out of the game. It’s not something to read and remember it’s something to read and apply. How many gifts have you given in life that will change someone’s direction and future?
I’m not trying to make a hard sale for the book but I am pushing. What are you giving to someone this Holiday Season that will be remembered? Will the gift you give be something they smile about today and forget about tomorrow? Will the gift you give be hung on a wall to remember you gave it to them or will it be a gift that sticks in their brain and wouldn’t have come into being without you.

Hmm, this is a great idea and right on time. I just started to reread Dollar15…even brought it to work to read during lunch.
I’m actually looking forward to knocking off a chapter of the book this month as I will pay off the balance on my car.

As you know, I was one of the first to cop the book, and I’ve read it front to back twice, just to pick up some jewels that I may have missed the first time. I don’t think I got around to thanking you brotha, so there is no better time than the present. I got my fishing rod on the “side” of my boat, waiting on something to bite…I think the first step is understanding the truth, and rid your mind from all the unintentional lies that were told coming up. I appreciate you breaking down the game, and helping me find my way mentally…The rest is up to me.
I just copped 5 more copies after reading this post. This was one of the best purchases I ever made, back when the book came out. There are people I need to spread this game to.
Thank you for all you do, and due to reading and listening to this blog, I now feel how freeing the truth is once you embrace it.

@McD – Once you get that car done homie then all you’ll be spending on is maintenance aka oil & tires. You should be able to stack a lot faster now with that dead and gone. Also you can switch from full coverage to liability and lower your payment that way too.
The books are shipping homie from both coasts on the daily. So make sure you get it in before the 20th as the post office is already taking longer than it used to.
@BG – It’s my duty bruh and I take it seriously. Glad to share what I know with those who do not know. Now you can take it and build with it and not be stuck thinking that you have to deal with it.
You’ll never have to thank me as it’s what we should be doing. I’m just trying to do my duty in a bigger way than most.

Whats good Freeman? Just want to drop off my two cents on this topic because before finding R&G I was “mentally sick” with the overall use of the internet, social media, print media and especially television.
Before R&G, I was on a mission to surround myself and my family with thought provoking media. So started the path to enlightenment.
Now I’m reading Dolla15 and can’t put it down!lol! My 4 yr old asked me to read it to her at bedtime last night – I think because she likes the cover! Anyways, I ‘m just so happy, why?
Because knowledge, true knowledge is not just enlightenment it is power. I am empowering not only my mind but the mind of my daughter, who was listening intently as I read those pages!
…BTW Freeman, don’t worry about the slang or cussing that sometimes appears in your writings or podcasts – I allow her to hear that as well because it is delivered in a form of expression thats not derogatory or vulgar. Besides children are bright enough to know the difference.

@POA – Glad you find the book interesting enough to not put it down. Even more happy that you are sharing the knowledge with your daughter. If we learn the right way in the beginning we won’t waste our time hoping to find it later on.
Well the slang will stay the cursing I’m a work in progress on. Like you said it’s a form of expression but I have to learn to express it using other words instead of the ones that damn folks. I use it primarily because I know I have to shock and awe most people into seeing the game a different way. If I presented it like this would be good no one would listen but since I present it like you are a fool, sucker, second place finisher and a lost loser it catches the stubbornest of ears.
Don’t plan to stop the R&G as long as people aren’t expecting my TOP 10 game every time out I can chop it up about money anytime.

I think any of the young cats who read your blog, but haven’t read your book are doing themselves a major disservice. This book is all about learning the basics of how to monetize without depending on anybody. All i can say is I wish i had this game when i was in college…
Thanks for the compliment bruh! I’m sure the book will make it’s rounds and hopefully become of those timeless books to the game. I wanted to make sure if that’s the only thing I did it was something to build with.
