MLK Unfulfilled Dreams – Podcast

Reading time: 1 – 2 minutes

Probably one of my favorite speeches by MLK speaking on the good intentions of those who never quite get to fulfill their dreams. There are those who try to do the impossible and never get it done but through their trying others finish it for them. But, if that one person never tried there would be nothing to finish. The great majority of us because of time and circumstance will probably never finish our vision completely. The journey to your empire might take longer than you ever imagined. But, if you didn’t get up the courage to take this mission on those who come after you will be exactly you left your dream. It’s not always about finishing it’s more about starting and your intentions to bring about change.

    The realness .
Better to have tried and failed then to live with regret with no heart – roger that!

Exactly! So is there really a choice? If the mission is to be undertaken without the worry of completion what’s the real worry in life.

I like his sincerity and his honesty about his demons and the fact that he knew he was not gonna live to see his goals completed in his lifetime. Thanks for this podcast. Why come I didn’t hear this speech along with I Have a Dream as a child? This makes MLK seem like a real brother, not the messiah cartoon figure we make him to be.

When you own everything you put out what you want. It’s up to us to be in charge of our own heroes. Like any Black preacher the majority of his sermons will be to help the people he ministers too. So I’m sure the majority of them are catered to a more real life angle.

Boardroom B got me looking for them when he posted some links a while back. So I sat down and listened to as many as I could and finally found this one I thought was more in line with what I say on the R&G.

    Enjoy!
