More Famous than Good

You’re right most people who think they are something when you really get to know them aren’t about anything. Most people take their little bit of talent and try to find someone to exploit, dick or make it bigger than what it is. That’s the nature of the game and time we are in right now. This is why people are becoming more famous talking about famous people with talents than actually having a talent. This is why most of the music, clothing, electronics and just people in general fade away almost as fast as they arrived.
Don’t be surprised that a lot of tricks are coming up with as many angles as possible to be famous. Some people are trying to be Pro-Black knowing they are scared of Black Folks. Some people are trying to tell you what’s wrong knowing they are too scared to come outside and fix it. Some people are showing what’s wrong with others knowing they are cowards to actually standing up theirselves. Really all these people have something in common and that is they want to be Famous without proving a damn thing. They want to have you believe that they know more than everyone else just like the cats who read a teleprompter for your local news.
All these tricks need is one shot to sell you their BS and if they get enough people to buy they’ll come out with version two. Look in this game originality is rare and when it does come out it’ll last. But, the game right now is to produce something so fake that you buy it off the crazy angle they provide. So anyone can write a book about Hustling getting all the things a lot of cats have wrote on the blogs and mix it with pimping and viola we got a Sucker’s rendition of game. People are trying to be life coaches and motivational speakers knowing damn well they don’t care two shits whether you actually benefit. Suckers during this recession are looking around and saying what are other cats making money at and brushing up on their manipulation tactics.
There’s always a way to know if people are genuine. See if they stick to the same line no matter what they say then you’ll know that’s who they really are. If you find a Sucker who will talk about whatever is popular then you have a cat who really isn’t about it but wants to convince you he is about it. You have a con artist who really wants to be the foremost authority on shit they know will get hits on a website. Since cats are starving in this recession you see Suckers reaching for straws and making sure you get the short one.
The same kind of people come out during bad times. They are the carpetbaggers and traveling medicine men selling bottles of magic elixirs. The fame is all they want because if they can get enough Suckers to buy the shit their selling it’ll be enough for them to disappear after their one hit. Finding good, beneficial and knowledgeable information in this time will be harder than usual so beware of the cats who are more famous than good.

I agree too many snake oil salesman claiming that they are about it. Just turn on your TV early in the morning or late at night. All those infomercials claiming this and that and in the end ain’t about shit! We are living in a society where everyone wants to be famous without putting in the work. They all want to be the Kim Kardashians and be famous for nothing!!
Its hard to find the real information when you have an ocean full of sharks.
It seems that every body now-a-days trying to sell us a pipe -dream.I say buy into nothing unless its going to put you on the path or better postion to making money for yourself. People famous with no talent is a reason I dont watch much tv ( i can name a ton of shitty shows.) or listen to music unless its from the mid 90s or earlier and im not that old at all.
@G71 – It’s a quick money angle and they hope the game they perpetrate will never be challenged. How many times can you follow a day in the life of a businessman and you don’t learn anything about business? I don’t give a fvck what they eat and their dumbass staff. It’s just a hustle to make you watch empty vitamins aka a placebo to this game.
Kardashian is famous because a lot of no game Suckers take pride in daydreaming about fvcking her so it’s like jacking off to a magazine. Same twisted angle!
@Anubis – When times get rough all the no talent cats look out and say I can do that like him. They start out trying to mimic, snipe and finally outright go against cats they wish they were. The problem is they can’t sustain it and usually fall off message because it just ain’t in them.
Me I’m tired of reality TV because most of this shit is about busted people and has beens. It’s like watching the cat who knew the trainer for Michael Jackson and giving him some shine. It’s nuts but since we have all this downtime we should be building something.
2011 is about big mouth paperweight groupies out here. Y’all are right..people want real success and fame without getting their hands dirty. Like folks that want to have a fit body without exercising daily.
Fact is harder than Fiction! It’s just most cats want to be larger than life and who they really are is a little dude!
Lets say its safe to assume all the folks here at the R&G can see the Game and angles for whats it worth.
That means we for sure won’t be the suckers buying into the hype.
My thing is, I don’t see a problem with/or with those SELLING the hype. One of this system/machine/matrix purpose is to produce the suckers who buy into the BS so some opportunist can CAPITALIZE off of em. That’s just a part of Capitalism.
Example:
People sh!tted on Arianna Huffington of the Huffington post for the way she ran her blog. Basically she just re-posted post from hundreds of freelance journalist and bloggers = no original content of her own. ABSOLUTELY NONE.
This year she sold that b!tch for 350 milli….I pop My collar at her a*s.
The fact that katz here are illuminated/conscious/3rd eye open…pick your metaphor. Does that mean we don’t get our pay-pa, even if it means at the expense of suckers?
Most people don’t want to be both it’s like selling a brick facade and saying it’s 4 side brick! Everything that determines if a person is genuine is the angle at which they present it. I am in no way against cats putting out beneficial angles or information and profiting from it. But, there’s a difference between cats taking from others and championing it.
So in your example Huffington Post made chips. But, I bet you my bottom dollar she cited the people who wrote it. She wasn’t accumulating game from other people recycling it and then coming out saying she is the all knowing News Source.
If you have something of value someone will pay for it because that’s the game. I’m saying you’ll see a lot of cats who only claim to be based off what they can sell. Now if a preacher was doing that it would be called blasphemy but if a regular cat does it we should give him a pass? Naww the cat is fake and I just want to make sure everyone on the R&G realizes what’s coming.
As AH said it’s the year of the bigmouth paperweight groupies! If what you have is real then sell it but if what you have is stories you heard from cats really doing it then call it FICTION so we know you ain’t the source but the bloodsucker!
