Time is Money
Reading time: 4 – 6 minutes
I think it was Beuller a while ago who put up the statistic that most cats become millionaires in their 40′s and 50′s. Now I’m not saying it can’t happen earlier than that but statistically most of you cat’s have plenty of time to get there. But, I do realize asking you cats to be patient for another lifetime is like asking me to wait for GOD to give me something…. no matter how many times I agree I really don’t agree. I guess in my not so old age I have realized that the bigger angles seem to take longer because its the building of knowledge that creates the millions. Unless you figure out how to win the lottery, money will take some time.
Right now I am on my empire angle and I had a 12 month plan. But, in typical youngin way I thought I could push the timetable. That 50K house angle I have been telling you guys to be on… I am on myself. I have bid on approximately 10 houses and lost them all. Now I know when I started that it’s stupid for me to buy houses in the spring and summer when all the other Suckers for Dream Houses come out to play. I knew I should have started in the winter when all the happy people go in the house and save money for Santa. So even though I pushed myself to make deals and deal with realtors who were trying to tell me what I should buy; I got damn near burnt out on the shit. So for me to tell you cats to be patient is something I have a problem with too.
Everytime something takes longer for me I usually find out more things to add on to it. Through my constant recon and trial and error the goal usually gets refined. My first house I looked at was pretty good but the 10th house I lost was 10 times better. Now the plan is the plan and even if I would’ve got the first house I would’ve been pretty happy. But, I would’ve been happy primarily because I got it earlier in my plan as the money spent is the same. Now the difference is with my plan I’m not trying a business and wasting money figuring out the game. With what I’m trying to get done it’s simply me getting on a road I should’ve been on when I began my hustle.
For a lot of you cats the time you have to wait to start off right you think it’s wasting money somehow. I guess you have to live to learn that everyday your empire takes to come into being is a day you could’ve been gathering more data and perfecting your plan. Maybe it’s because I already have been in business that I can see rushing time could make me lose a whole hell of a lot of money. But, even when I started it took me about a year to get my money up to make sure I wasn’t in debt. I even went and got me a telemarketing job at night so I could still have some cash and not ask my business to work right away.
40 to a 20 year old is another lifetime. Shit, coming from nothing fvcking 20 days feel like 40 years so when you cats don’t want wait I feel the frustration. All I can tell you is once you make money that win and race is over. The first time I was trying to prove to myself that my street hustle skills could translate into building block chips. The empire on the other hand is the coming together of a lot of my new knowledge and using the money I have to take it to another level. But, I tell you what if I would’ve known to be more patient I could’ve probably made double to triple more money. Shit I didn’t even capitalize on all the opportunities I had because I was too emotional about the chips instead of tactical. I was on Beast Mode damn near slashing whomever came in front of me like a Ninja.
So instead of thinking Time is Money as you wasting time….. you should think Time is Money as meaning sometimes it takes time to make all of the money.

I agree. Especially starting with nothing..constantly have to build yourself up and juggle until the foundation is built. Lately I gave up on the whole get rich quick mental. I just said it will take a decade or more to build from nothing. If it happens sooner I’m cool. Else one brick at a time. I’d take being a millionaire in my 40s and 50s.
Once you get on the right road the money materializes. Sometimes you have to take comfort in the fact that you know this way will pay off no matter how long it takes. For us that come from nothing to get out of hell is a ASAP thing but, we need to build that foundation because falling back is even worse.
Don’t get me wrong you might open up shop and make a million in 3 months! But, we can’t bank on that and it’s better that we accept that it will take some time.
Thank you for the inspiration (and I can’t help but feel some of what you said was directed at my comments yesterday), everything you say makes sense not only from a game mindset but from an analytical one too. Your process aligns perfectly with the Scientific Method.
Yep, your comment was the inspiration for this post but only to bring some sort of context to idea of time. I don’t know about the scientific method but when if it fits good!
To make a million dollars by the time that I am 40. That sounds nice. I just wonder how long does is say it would take to make a billion dollars. I may sound greedy wanted that much money but some one out here will make the next billion. It mind as well be me…
I wonder what I will have to make to get that much money.
Well a Billion is a thousand millions. So once you make a million can you repeat the process 1000 times? Also depending on how long it takes you to get that first million will determine if you can flip that to a billion. Money begets money so we need to get our money up so we can flip it.
Next will you create the business that will be used as the instrument to flip the million into billions? It’s not impossible as I’m sure Wrigley gum made over a billion dollars in chewing gum.
Time in terms of wasting time is really not a problem because once you got it you got it. The real question of time is when you have the means to do it will you use your time to create more or just sit there happy with what you got. That’s how I see time!
Twenty years is about right.
That’s about how long it took Oprah and Bob Johnson to make their first billion.
Just recently I decided to give my workouts a goal/purpose/direction by deciding to take up bodybuilding in My late 30′s.
So I asked this 40+yr old bodybuilding kat that I MMA train with to give Me some Game. He said the thing most people fail to understand is that bodybuilding takes TIME. Like years, decades not months. That’s why, he said, most people quit when they don’t see gains in a few months.
It was humbling to an “ready, fire, aim” Dude like Myself but I respected the Game nevertheless from someone whose knowledge I respected, and still intend on going forward with it.
The same holds true when I observe people who are TRULY wealthy, not just “looking rich”…the sh!t takes TIME. The wealthy are usually on the humble bout theirs.
I learned the same thing. It took me a couple of years to gain weight and I should just be diligent and disciplined for maybe a year to get it off.
Making money is a lifestyle change. Cats have been working 40 hours a week for years to get nowhere. Cats have to learn it’ll take the same discipline but with their own stuff for things to happen. It’ll happen for sure but it will take more time as this ain’t the lottery.
