Crucify your Pride

In order to make it you’ll have to stay focused on your goals. Pride is by far the worst emotion or vice to have as it’s a Money Killer. You wanting to show that you are better, smarter, first in line, first to say it that way and wanting your just due will sabotage your hustle. You allowing others to affect your angle so much because of your pride is a weakness. You not getting over loses because of your pride is paralyzing. In fact you believing you are entitled to something and expecting it just because, is a deathblow.
I had to make this post a little bit out of hand in analogies because I wanted to stress it’s importance. I know sometimes you think I tell you to act like a robot when it comes to money but emotions will kill you. You have to learn to be indifferent to just about everything that comes with this game. Indifference means neither up nor down, neither mad nor happy, neither vengeful nor passive. When I say I’m just passing through it’s because I have learned to be indifferent about situations where I know I will not have to deal with these people anymore. When I remain calm in business it’s because I know things can turn around in a second and me panicking will just make me mess up. When I deflect praise it’s because I know anyone can read what I read and do what I do if they wanted to.
Now to some it may seen like I don’t care about anything. Well truth be told I don’t care about anything that will take me off my mission. Success attracts and entices your pride to start believing your own hype. Your pride will make business decisions for you instead of just getting the money and moving on. Your pride will make you say Sucker phrases like you deserve it because you worked for it, when you deserve nothing in this world. Your pride will make you think you are GOD and if not GOD’s gift to the world.
It takes discipline to create empires. Creating the empire is such a undertaking that you stopping to pat yourself on the back or admire what you built just slows down the process. We have to keep moving and the best way to stay in motion is not to allow anything to get a rise, misdirect or influence your mind from getting things done. Crucifying your pride is the biggest step you can take on the road to building the life you want.

Its funny because I always said..Pride will get you homeless and this has rang true in my life. Eventhough it is really hard for some, we all just have to realize that that ish is invisible.

@Kozi – If you can control your pride no one will notice you accumulating bricks for the empire. In fact all of your hate that people are worried about will never manifest. People want to be the messenger more than they want to deliver the message. As a result they get sidetracked addressing something or someone who offended their ego.

Great message, Freeman. Humility building empires. I can see that. I’m glad I read that today cause I’ve been struggling with that lately. Being too good to build for self and trying to stay comfortable where I’m at. Like I don’t want to get my hands dirty or embarrassed about it. Pride will keep you starving.
Pride before the fall is the old saying I believe. Now no one is saying walk down the street like a chump! It’s a matter of staying focused on the end result and not letting your own internal self righteousness get in the way of the goal. We all think we’re great it’s just the builders focus that into what they are building and the Suckers focus that into what they’re saying.

Money always entices you to feel invincible and show your ass or make you feel like you were born to do this. Either way your pride gets you killed over proving to people something you already know. Its why the cats who own everything refuse to be in situations where they have their pride challenged.
Already downloaded the new mixtape yesterday and in fact I cut it into monday’s podcast.

Self-Belief is not the same as pride. Self Belief is a unshakable internal (not external) belief in yourself so it doesn’t need to be appreciated. So what you think you are capable of based on nothing but your belief in yourself usually has no negative side to it. Since you are doing things for yourself it rarely is noticeable by others or if they do it is long after you already accomplished them.
Pride on the other hand only manifests when you are in comparison or agitated by someone else. The need to be appreciated, rewarded, recognized and thanked are all inputs from outside of yourself. So if you learn to deflect those you will never allow your pride to make moves based on your need to prove things to others.
A Man can take over the world if he would shut up and proceed to doing so. It’s only his pride that lets those against him know exactly what he is trying to do.

I can dig this reading right here. Pride is something that I am seriously working on, because I been that cat with the “I am smarter and better than you mentality”. But as life goes on, I see that don’t amount to ish if you don’t have the chips to go with it..
That’s the lesson I learned in my teens that all this intelligence means nothing if I don’t get my money right. All this slave theory of proving your smarter than the next man only brings enemies and then you have to address them by putting them down or taking them out. So I found out if I lay low and do my thing I’ll get where I need to get. People can talk but if I never say anything back it’ll die off and AS ALWAYS I am just passing through.
