Abstinence – Podcast

Reading time: 1 – 2 minutes

Sometimes the only way to win the game is not to play it at all. When it comes to the times we live in right now the game is rigged to produce a certain type of person. The only way you cannot become this type of person is to not even play the game. To find and develop a alternate plan to accomplish all that you want so you can maintain your independence.

The game is sounding like the matrix lmao, once you let people know about the real world most want to be put back into the system. At least there are sites like yours offering the red or blue pill, hopefully folks choose freedom.

It is all a illusion and it’s the same hustle that you use on little kids to make them get a gold star. You train people to want certain things and think a certain way. They automatically look for people’s approval and never think they can do all this for theirselves.

Once you know the game you just play it but you never believe it. Just like the matrix you just manipulate the world with the same rules the devil uses on everyone else. It’s just you have to decide if you want to be the liberator or the manipultor.

    Welcome back!

Let me just say thank you for all the work you’ve put in these past few years. This site is invaluable. Very few are putting the game in perspective like you are. The main thing I love is how you from day one have drilled that Getting Your Own is the ultimate goal. Every podcast comes back to that point.

I was reading something on a message board earlier “Thing you should have by age 35″. Followed by a list mid manager level, comfortably middle class salary , at least 2 kids, coaching pop warner etc etc. So glad I’m not on that path and having my own is the main thing I’m focused.

Thanks for the compliment. The goal is to start your own as everyone is lying to theirselves on what they want. The things you should have by 35 is all part of getting chose and making the best out of a hellish life of never reaching your potential.

BUT, some people defend the system since anything against it makes their accomplishments look bad. The truth of the matter is you want the money to determine your own life and opening up your own business is probably the fastest way to get that done..

I’m cracking up at mid manager level because that just makes me think of someone who been working on the plantation entirely too long!

I’ve been preaching for the longest about the importance of personal discipline. But folks mostly just want to do what’s easy and feels good right now. Regardless of how much they know there is a direct line between what they’re doing today and their destruction tomorrow. Maybe that’s just the way nature keeps the human population in check.

That’s real talk!! And how I feel about Capitalism.

I’m only about 10 podcast in (starting from most recent), & curious as to your perspective as a black Man on Capitalism.

When I was deep in the grass-roots “conscious” movement I had to bounce out because the movement were so anti-capitalism that they were chronically broke. Don’t get Me wrong, I’mma soak up the conscious Game for life but I ain’t with that chronically broke sh!t.

Anyway, so back to the question. What’s your take on Capitalism Bruh?

@Carl – Everyone doesn’t mind being stupid when everyone around them is stupid. Any smart person can tell you that they have to be quiet and sometimes act stupid in order to be in the crowd. Basically I am saying the same thing as we know everyone is stupid but when you act like it don’t believe you truly are.

@Supreme – Now I consider myself to be conscious as I know what’s right and wrong but I also grew up knowing we have to build by the means we have provided. God might be on my side but he hasn’t made it known yet so I’d better take advantage of what’s here.

The problem with Capitalism and Righteousness is money will tempt the weak cats. So it’s better to talk about the evils of money when it’s really the evils of man that is the problem. So we can have a good brother who got billions from his angle and puts all of his folk to work and builds schools and that would be great. But, most of the time the brothers with the money are selfish and since they built it by theirself they don’t always feel the need to help everyone. Thus you don’t have a community and the have nots think the money made the rich cat that way.

Money is needed by the righteous to build their idea of life on this earth. Money is just the means to the resources. So Catholics have thier own schools and charities to help their people. But, no one looks at them like they are doing wrong. So it matters MUCH who is the cat on top and what they do with the money. Because if a Righteous man has a lot of money he will do Righteous things.

Sometimes another mans truth is limited and so his truth can only be for those who are under him in knowledge. Once you get your own understanding you will develop your own truth beyond what those have taught you. For me, I listen to what most have to say in terms of consciousness but I know the devils we battle so we have to pick up the weapons of those who keep us down. If the only thing they respect is capitalism then capital is what we need to accumulate to defend ourselves, our families and our kind. So to me they do not conflict at all!

Think about it. If these conscious groups decided to run dry cleaners, laundromats, make soap, detergent and the like…. they would have enough money to defend their neighborhoods from those who prey on them and build a big enough temple to pray for them! Think about it!

Welcome back, Mr. Freeman. Good podcast on the game. I’m glad somebody sees it for what it is. This came at the right time. I was at work yesterday and just felt like I didn’t want to keep working no more. Like I was lying to myself. You know how you always get promised something but it never comes so you put on that happy smile and play the hope and wish game. I think the part that hit me in your podcast was the “typical middle class dream”. I’ve failed at that so many times, but after listening I came to the conclusion that I’m not supposed to be average. I also like the end talking about staying out of places we’re not welcome and build our own. Cause they are real. Some folks ain’t trying to help us at all and don’t want us with the knowledge to build empires. Went through that at work yesterday. They won’t miss me when I leave.

Thank you for calling me Mr but Brother will do!

Someone set up the game with fake markers and goals that don’t make sense. It only makes sense to make you a slave forever where you go in debt for 50 years and then celebrate when you get out with arthritis and a very limited life. So don’t get mad that you never got them as you probably were more lucky than unlucky.

Now that you see the game you have a reason to be there instead of as you said playing the hope and wish game. If you know from the beginning no one will give you anything you’ll proceed in life to build your own as that’s just the answer to that problem. Businessman never welcome the Man/Woman who can rival them someday and groups who have a industry on lock sure as hell ain’t giving a helping hand.

When you leave you’ll be replaced. But, when you leave you won’t be crying and bitching saying you were the best they ever had. The goal is not to make them wish you were still there, the goal is not to be involved with the devil in the fist place. You’ll be alright just build your own and you’ll be happy you aren’t there anymore. I am!

Question to everyone. When is it ever a time for one to just completely risk and go 100% in to the hustle? We got these debt issues, its gotten to the point where prostitution has even hit an all time high.Do you think now since these things are happening that one must put more time in building their own empire, or do we have to wait to make such sacrifices?

@ kozi. This brings to mind the comment a wallstreet kat made on the movie “The Corporation”. He said as he was looking up at the twin towers burning he was plotting on getting in on the commodities futures. He was an opportunist in the truest sense and made no qualms about it.

Now is a GREAT time to bubble, if you ask Me. And like Myself, you should be building with a sense of urgency about it. Cause to be honest Bruh…sh!t is gonna be merciless round here.

If you got the resources and can make moves, then go for it. Be patient, diligent and strategic about your sh!t, but still make moves. Now’s A GREAT TIME.

But personally speaking, I’m not one for dropping “everything”. Call Me paranoid, but I like to have plan A thru M got dammit. My backup plans got backup plans.

    Hu$tle Hard!

  14. I want to say that it’s nothing wrong with the House, cars, nice wardrobes etc. if it’s paid for. I know a few cats have 500K homes that are paid for (less debt, less stress) They are the ones that own Dunkin Donuts, Staffing companies etc.

I take international vacations every year with my family but I make sure it’s paid for.

I do agree there are slaves and there are high price slaves. Both are still slaves. Always keep a side business going even if you have a 9-5. Eventually your entrepreneurial gene will start to trump labor. I kept my lifestyle very minimal in the beginning. I could afford to because I had no husband and kids. But I knew I was not going to struggle forever. I’m happy to say I live the life I want and I’m still relatively young.

While you’re working, stack your chips and invest in yourself! I want to also say none of this will work unless you’re surround by people that motivate and push you. Podcasts like this one, books, The Wall St. Journal and other resources can help you with your personal development. Educate yourself before you’re old and gray

@ l marie – I don’t see anything you speaking on that goes contrary to shit FreeMan hasn’t already spoke on many, many many times before

He’s TOLD the “young katz’ to start of with a 40k house pay it off, get them a basic car for transportation…etc, when they are first starting off, then work themselves up.

Freeman also speaks to the FUNDAMENTALS of Hu$ling, which reign as true today as they did 50 years ago and 50 years from now….Be Self Made, Self Reliant and Self Determining ALWAYS! That’s why a Man like Myself with 30yrs of Hu$ling under His belt is @ this site.

Also, not only is there a difference between “nice” things and “quality’ things but to quote My dude Riq’ “It IS tricking if you got it”. These devils will take the $500 price tag of a pair of heels and put a $5000 tag on and fall back and watch a dumb bitch ante up for it. I’m dat dude trying to SELL the dumb bitch the heels ;)

Finally, the MEN here ain’t trying to do some faggitry shit like LEASE a dunkin donuts to make THEM rich off THEIR brand when they could start their OWN franchise/brand like Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles, Javaology, This Is It Soul Food, or I did. All Black OWNED franchises started by Hu$ling ass black folk.

Hell call that shit “Roscoe’s Donuts & Shrimp” god dammit. Don’t really fucking matter, cause its YOUR SHIT

    Hu$le Hard y’all!

  16. R&G wrote:

@LJoseph – As long as they own everything outright they are alright with me. I don’t make a fuss on how we all get there even if it’s franchising a Dunkin Donuts. To owe no one is the key to capitalism so I’m with it.

@Supreme – Damn bruh fall back. L. Marie has been on the site for years so she fully understands what I say on here and she supplements it with her experiences and knowledge. She was just giving an example of things from her life and how they are in business. There are many ways to mountaintop bruh and I for one don’t get caught up in how one gets there as long as they get there.

I appreciate the vigor and enthusiasm behind what I provide but in order to build we need to listen and accept the angles before we condemn. Financial Independence is a combination of hustle and education so most of us have one and not the other. In my case, and what I advocate; is to take the raw hustle we all have from trying and learn the techniques of building.

The R&G is for everyone and whatever anyone may take away from it. Let’s keep it civil so we can build.
