Price the World

Reading time: 2 – 4 minutes

Sometimes the things I want to build in this life seem far away. I can’t lie  sometimes I look around and think to myself I should just get a damn job and plug back into the matrix. On those days I pull out my list of just about everything I wanted and how much it will cost me. I started doing this when I was about 13 because I really wanted to know what things cost so I know how much money I need to make.

So I called up a taxi service that will drop me door to door from the airport to my house to see how much it cost round trip. I walked into Open Houses in Malibu and took the brochure home with me so I really know how many millions it cost to live on the beach. I walked into 2 story condo open houses in Manhattan and again took the brochure. I walked into condos in Bal Harbor open houses AGAIN to get the price. I even called up a private jet company to see how much it would cost. I priced damn near everything I imagine having when I finish the empire. Damn it I even priced the warehouse space to run my empire and how much it would cost to get my own big rig!

My boy and I in college used to call this getting our Grown Man on. Now back then it was about getting our clothes game up. While other Suckers were trying to be trendy we were trying to be Timeless. I must’ve collected 20 books just on how to dress appropriately when the time comes. Even to this day me and my boy will still talk about who got their shit together life wise and try to dissect the game so we can rebuild it for ourselves.

Once I review all the prices that are involved in building the world I want I usually feel better. On this road to the empire there are a lot of dark days of discipline. When you see the Suckers tricking it’s only natural that you want to light up the room when you step in. So I found it to be therapuetic to really find out the cost not just say I want to get it. I only feel better when I do the math on getting to each of those things that cost.

Dreams remain dreams when you don’t have the real information to get them. I just found that it wasn’t enough for me to want it I actually had to know the price, so when I paid the price it would be worth it!

Yes, when you make your goals specific, you know exactly how far you have to reach to gain that sense of accomplishment. After that you can take a breather to enjoy, then reach some more.

I recently thought about getting a brand new Range Rover so I priced it. Now, $100,000 for a vehicle is ALOT of money and even unreasonable if you ask me but if I can get to the point where that’s just a drop in the bucket, then I think it’ll be all good and worth it :)

The symbol of success for anyone in the NorthEast is that damn Range Rover! LOL You can spot a NY cat from a mile away.

Money in real numbers is the same as knocking down goals. Once you have that money you have that product. It’s more simple for me and the way I think to know these real numbers instead of saying I want to be rich. How rich for me is a real number instead of good saying.
