Probably the number 1 angle most major companies employ. It’s one thing to sell you a new Iphone and show you the innovations and another angle to show you that they support save the whales or a cancer walk or Ronald McDonald house. The angle here is some people don’t care for your products but they know a lot of tree huggers will support a company that seems to help the public somehow. So instead of commercials that tell you what they sell they will pull a “let’s all clean up the damn park” commercial.
