The End is Near
Reading time: < 1 minute
Me talking about how Entertainment rapes people of their talents and their money gets old huh? So instead of me saying and you thinking Freeman isn't in the industry and doesn't really know how it goes down my boy Alpo put me up on this video. All I can say is I couldn't have said it better and the End is definitely Near.

I really can’t understand why people prefer someone else calling the shots and making the rules to making your own luck and standing on your own two.
How is a man gonna sit there and make 10 cents off every record HE made when a label is gonna take 14.90 just so he can say he’s ‘signed to such and such records’?
This is how cats like Tay Zonday, Eli Porter and ’50 Tyson’ are getting ahead, they’re so bad no label will sign them, but they wanna be recording artists so bad that they have NO CHOICE but to do for self. Then when people actually start listening, all of a sudden the labels try to step in.
Like Young Guru said a lot of cat’s are waking up and the Music Industry will not be the same in the coming years. Real talk the Hustlers are in the industry now and people see that they aren’t getting all of their money. Once the internet really funnels talent properly cats will only need a marketing company.
I’m just glad someone is out there doing the math about the music industry. Like Young Guru said 5000 CD’s at 10 bucks = 50000…. so why do you need a major to cosign when you can hustle that in any city in the country.
Prince found this out the hard way.
There’s always a martyr to any enlightenment and Prince is the one for the Music industry. Now I think people are starting to see that the relationship is backwards.
How can the distributor make more money off the product than the producer? Even WalMart doesn’t make as much money as Proctor & Gamble on their products and we’re just talking toothpaste!
wow this is so insightful but I’m sure ppl will see this clip and still get into the industry because they don’t want to hustle their own music! what u think?
Everyone is a Customer, Most people are Suckers and only a few are Hustlers. Some people don’t heed the warnings and most of them turn into pillars of Salt.
You can’t save everyone but we sure as heaven can try to tell everyone.
its sad that many future talent not seeing this. Also many talented artists expected the love they have for their music and these artists expect the music company to be in the same emotional attachment when in fact these companies just focus on “what is hot” they could not care less of the quality of music.
we and others need to support artists that we like and not rely on what radio feeds us. i always hear people saying music is crap right now. Not true! WITH THE INTERNET, you can listen to artists from all around the world and cool underground cats from the states. well said Young GURU.
The inevitable is inevitable so when people realize their hustle could give them more money than trying to get put on they will naturally make the switch. It will happen faster because this is a issue of money and everyone is looking for way to make the most money.
Some know, few listen but no one wants to be a Sucker!
btw I posted this on my facebook page because I know a lot of aspiring artist and guess what no thumbs up or nothing! Go figure . . .
No one likes to see what they believe and hope for is a CON! As long as you show people what stupid looks like deep inside they’ll remember it and make the necessary changes.
lol thanks, I understood!
