Building Permits

Reading time: 2 – 4 minutes

Some cats seem like they have all the skills to build something but when it actually is time they build inferior products. I mean this to say sometimes you will find cats that are pretty smart in a given area but really don’t bring anything to the table. The problem is you have given them permission to build with you and you believed they could be a good asset but in reality they fall on their face and you have to cut them lose before they destroy the whole project. I know that sounds harsh but on the way up the mountain you can’t carry any dead weight and what you thought was a mountain climber actually just plays the guitar for entertainment!

It happens to me all of the time as I readily admit that I don’t know everything and I seek cats who specialize in it. I bring them my shotty prototype and say this is where I’m going and shut up waiting to be wowed with what they know. Somehow in the process I start realizing that I might as well do it on my own because either I’m really creative or the other cat is really dumb. What I really realize is that maybe this cat will have some use as an employee to the hustle but it would be stupid to have this cat in the whole building process with me.

Now cat’s don’t have to WOW me but damn I want to be put on to something that I didn’t come up with myself. I figure if the cat wants to wear the big shoes he will take big steps and push the idea to new heights. Truth be told I run into this most of the time with artsy type of cats because they need to feel inspired and since I am Bob the Builder I just need the blueprints. Anyone who tells you they need to be inspired to do something is usually a Red Flag to get rid of the dummy before he messes up the money. What this idiot is saying is I have to find a reason to make money besides the stomach grumbling like this money game is about making a movie!

So watch who you issue Building Permits to and don’t be afraid to yank them back and stop the whole project. Some people are destined to be employees because they refuse to take control and operate off emotion. You can’t build with this type of cat no matter what anyone says unless you are in a very artsy field. When you the amateur to the game can create a better product than the expert then you know you just need employees you don’t need another builder.

See on this one right here this is the truth. I think sometimes these cats know what theyre doing and then I end up coming back to my original way.

I guess I just need employees and helpers instead of a partner like you said.

See the game is messed up. You got so many bookish cats that when it’s time to build they don’t know how to do it. So watch out who you think is a expert as he might be a expert on passing a test but not out in the world.
