You’ll Know I’m Dead – Book Review

Sometimes you need to read the books of cats who are actually making deals happen. Now while they might not tell you every deal they made they will tell you the exciting ones so you can keep reading the book. This is pretty much what this book is doing from a Hollywood perspective. Now you might not make deals in Hollywood like Mr. Weintraub but if you are about your chips you will meet tons of interesting characters. This book is more about the joy and fun you get from making deals happen and all the crazy things you are willing to do to make money.
What I learned from this book is I wasn’t the only one who gets excited putting deals together and stacking chips. Now my angle hasn’t been written in a book (maybe I’m supposed to write it) but I pull a lot of inspiration from any cat who is pulling the trigger. Sometimes you need to surround yourself with the people that do and this is the kind of cat that has done a lot.

Yo, i’ve been meaning to pick up that Weintraub book. I’ve always admired his behind-the-curtain type hustle. Especially, how he orchestrated the concerts for Elvis and Sinatra…those moves are legendary. Yeah, i’m gonna make it my business to pick that one up sooner than later. Good pic, Freeman.
Truth be told I was put on to this book from reading Hustler’s Ambition site. I like to read about the cat’s doing things and this cat did a lot. It’s ammo for me and probably my way of inspiring myself by keeping examples of the cats who do instead of elevating the cats who don’t.
