Make Peace with Anyone – Book Review
Reading time: 1 – 2 minutes
With all the personalities you are likely to meet on the way up you need some kind of guide. This is the book that I used to understand and diffuse all kind of potential conflicts with people of different cultures, different backgrounds and just plain different period. Making peace doesn’t mean the beef is over but it does mean letting things go and not letting small things mess up the chips.
What I got from this book and countless others about negotiating is to remove all emotion out of your thinking. Emotion is the poison that destroys rational thinking in any deal you may have. Learn how to see the bigger picture in everything you do and you’ll be very productive. And productive in business means CHIP$!

Are we making peace or just moving on peacefully? I like how you use these books to really advocate just being effective. Not to improve but to get things done.
Welcome Ascot! You’re right that’s exactly why I read these books as I don’t want to be friends with these guys anyway. So my goal is to get things done and not ruffle feathers on the way to getting my money.
I’ll work it out with people I love, everyone else I’m just trying to get the deal done.
