3D Start-UP

Reading time: 2 – 3 minutes

With the advent of 3D television and movies it naturally creates a need for 3D glasses. Now this is another of my backpocket hustles but I bet you in the next 5 years as 3D gets fully adopted by the public there will be a niche for designer 3D glasses. No one wants those paper blue and red ones that no one can really see anything with anyway. I am saying for the cat who can put 2 and 2 together there might be a market for some nice looking designer 3D glasses that a cat will not be ashamed to carry with them to the movie theater.

If you think about it you can sell them to the 3D TV manufacturers and slap their name on the front for them. It might be a free upgrade for the buying of the TV. Soon you will have all these condo communities upgrading their televisions and you can probably get a contract providing the TV and the glasses. Your early adopter cats who have  IPAD probably already has a 3D television and would love to show off your glasses adding on to the cool points.

Setup: It’s about time that you start thinking about importing these items and slapping your name on it. Don’t reinvent the wheel when you can probably get them for 1 buck each and sell them for 20 bucks each.

  1. Click this link  –> HERE
  2. Email the manufacturer and ask for a sample to be sent to you.
  3. Ask for the minimum order quantity and ask if they have different styles

Like I said this is one of my back pocket hustles of me sitting down thinking that this 3D television thing will take off as soon as the recession comes to an end. So you and I have time to do some research and get some great frames and probably even a carrying case for use when they go to 3D movies.

Your first customers might be kids on those Xbox games as once they perfect it don’t get shocked when the WII has all there games in 3D versions. See what you can do with it and email me on any results as I’m curious about this one myself.

Yeah, if we spot what’s coming and get ahead of it we can own the market. Soon people will replace their HDTV with 3DTV and then it will need a whole bunch more accessories. We can control style and that’s easier than trying to make a 3DTV.

there will eventually be a market for 3-d posters, billboards, magazine ads etc. If someone can make a casual pair of 3d sun glasses

See yeah you parlayed that one as I didn’t think about that. Right now those 3DTV and all these new movies in 3D made a market for the casual hustler. Anyone who can make the frames stop looking like we are blasting off into space and instead make them some regular shades will have some chips on their hands.

Afterall the game is just the frames you can put in the special glass for them to be 3D. So if a cat can find the frames he can sell designer 3D glasses. I mean you can take some Gazelles and put 3D shades in there and come up on some old frames.

Will 3D TV be popular enough to support that? I’m not sure but I like the idea. And I haven’t seen. n a pair of those red and blue ones in a minute. I was at a 3D movie and they had some black ones that looked like shades. Throw a Gucci symbol on them, and you might have something…

I figure in the coming years it will be fully adopted. Right now you can perfect the frames with a small inventory. Create a website and probably push them at the movies before a 3D movie comes on and you’ll be able to hustle them and build your name.

I think people will like to show them off just like they do sunglasses. If you keep them reasonably priced then you can move units.

3D will definitely be a big hit in the coming years. It’s been around for awhile yet it hasn’t really climaxed. Who wants to always have 2 go 2 an IMAX theatre or 2 certain movies? This is very insightful and I’m on it :~)

Glad to see that you’re on it. I think people will keep them in the car or something so when they go to the theater they’ll be ready. It’s just lenses and frames. I think anyone can make some nice designs on the frame and people will come and buy them to be unique.

The recession has retarded this idea but give it a couple of years and I bet everyone will wish they took advantage of it right now. All you have to do is get your suppliers up and get your frame design figured out and it’s instant cash.

You’re welcome just putting it out there so cats can keep their minds on the chips. Cats have to take a chance and email these overseas connects and get a free sample. Then you’ll know what you’re dealing with and if you can move the product.

Got to go international with the game as that’s what everyone else is doing.

Trueman has the right idea – place your own status brand on those puppies and you’ll have a winner.

I agree especially if you are creative enough to start your own brand like Oakley shades. I think anyone who gets out ahead of the eventual adoption of these shades will have a good chunk of change in their pocket.
