Of Mice and Men – Podcast
When you get to the top of your game if it’s popular there will be other people who come to copy it. The difference between mice who wait for crumbs or duplicate and Men who create is Discipline. The separator of the haves and the have nots is not just that the person went it’s that the person kept going. It’s the fact that the person who continuously improves themselves and their hustle cannot be stopped as he never stopped in the first place. What others lack in education and skill they replace with Will and believe it or not that’s all that’s needed to beat most people…..

Thanks Freeman, discipline is primordial to achieve anything.
It’s funny too about those athlete cats, those super talented ones, often they are the ones who puts in the most hours training and perfecting their skills, yet from the outside one would think it’s all natural talent with no hard work involved.
Discipline, Yeah!
I think people start to think it’s luck that keeps people ahead of the game when it’s just they are disciplined. Like you said it’s funny to think these professional athletes are lazy when you know they spend hundreds of hours perfecting their craft. It always amazes me that most NBA players make their shots when the average person on the street is not that consistent.
Nice Show as usual Freeman, I just recently got on to the R&G, but already i like wut im hearing.
In the meantime, I got a good question, I been in the streets prior to wut im doin now, nd i made a bit of chips doin that, but now i want to turn that money into “clean money” so that i can continuue into my corporate hustle without worrying about raising any eyebrows. How do i go about doin that?
What I recommend is that you enroll in some kind of school and pick up a trade that you can open up shop. You have the start up cash right now but you don’t have the skills. So if I’m in your situation I would go to Barber School or Mechanic School or something that I can be out in a year and then set up my own.
That street money is like a winning lottery ticket as you lucky you got it and lucky not to many people know you got it. So you got to grow on your own in your knowledge and set up a shop of your own. If you get your own barber shop you can rent the chairs to other barbers and be the chief barber collecting money forever and the money you collect from cutting heads.
If you want to go big with it then you got to go to college and get those basic classes out of the way and focus on the one thing you want to do. Since you got stable money on deck you can maintain your living while you are at college. Then you can set up shop in college selling non-illegal products and enjoy life a bit more and get out of the street.
Spend the cash slow on cash items don’t go all big as that raises eyebrows. If you got a 9 to 5 that paid you a check then you could deposit that check into the bank while paying for rent, car notes and everything in the cash you have on hand. That way you are making money while spending the other money but it won’t look to weird on the books.
You already got the heart to hustle you just got to transition from the streets. School is the only way I know to really change up things permanently. If you stay hood rich then you’ll have the problems of the hood with it. Got to think about taking a chance on yourself and building with that seed money.
Whassup FreeMan,
I just found your website last week. I always tried to become get money quick from real estate to the stock market with f’d up results. I’m good with starting a hustle, but lack disciple to see a project all the way through. Since listening to your podcasts and reading your posts, I been on my grind to get out the rat race of a 9 to 5. I am one of those smart-dumb cats who read, learn the information from the book, but loses in the end because I lack hustle/heart. I appreciate this information. I just got the book and it show you how to get up, get out, and get somethin’. It also so tell you how to keep that hater (hyde) out your ear so you can handle your business.
Keep risin’ and grindin’
All of us have something we have to overcome and as soon as we identify it we have to address it. People procrastinate, lie and feel unmotivated to do things. I think discipline is the missing factor not because it’s motivational but becasue it’s the exact opposite and it becomes like clockwork.
Glad to have you on board and glad to be of service.
