Rally Caps

Sometimes you just have to make up a reason to stay motivated. I personally like to imagine all the things I want in life will not come into being unless I take care of this meaningless task. Money comes to those who concentrate and perfect one thing over and over and over. So unless you have down syndrome and are motivated by the mundane you will need to create a active imagination. That’s why I don’t personally get mad when people believe the world is against them or that they have tons of haters because sometimes they need to believe that angle. Others sometimes imagine that when they touch the money they will turn into a Hollywood Pimp and get a BS show on VH1. Any way you have to do it sometimes we have to invent that Rally Cap.

Like I said I personally don’t have a problem with it unless the words that you say to yourself start coming out of your mouth. I think this is why people hate Kanye West and Puffy because that inner voice that they used to motivate themselves snuck out in a interview. As a result of not keeping those thoughts on the low now they have a hell of a lot more people coming after them. Let’s face it this Money game is a lonely one because only you will be there doing it. Even your wife or husband will not really get what the hell you are talking about on a daily basis. To be honest if it wasn’t for my brother being in business himself I wouldn’t have anyone to talk to about it. So just about everyday me and my brother talk about what he has to deal with and where we need to go. Sometimes it gets pretty out of hand as we start to call people Mfers and all kinds of things and create ghosts of people as enemies who could probably care less. After we vent all of that we feel better and more focused on the task.

In baseball when they need something special they turn their hats inside out to signify a rally of some sort. Well in Business you will need to get your rally cap because most of the time you are going with a hunch and whole lot of hustle. You have no idea whether what you do that day will actually make money or if it will just be a waste. You will need something to damn near CON yourself in the belief that failure isn’t really failure but more like a learning experience. You will need something to quiet the worries that might keep you up at night as you replace them with the possibility of greatness that you hope will happen. Believe me you will need something and whatever that something is as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else and you keep your mouth quiet so it won’t slip out I’m all for it.

It will take some inanimate object or dream for you to cling onto to take on the impossible. The majority of us never ran a business and if we know someone who has they haven’t ran one like the one you set up. So put on your rally cap as I sometimes walk around my house with my Dodger Cap turned inside out trying to create some artificial motivation. Whatever works and gets you through that moment I say do it. It won’t make sense to anyone and you know it doesn’t make sense but in the end it works.
