One Percent Documentary – 60 minutes of information!

Reading time: 4 – 6 minutes

This was forwarded to me on back channels aka email (sakwe) . Since I missed a podcast for this week I thought this documentary will do. Now it goes into what I always talk about on the R&G and I hope you have time to see all 8 parts. The total running time is a little bit over a hour so take it home and look at it.

I know you think FreeMan got us watching all kinds of stuff. YES! As much as I talk about money there is a bigger reason and a lot of it is touched on in this documentary. So many people are unaware of how they are being manipulated. I actually enjoy learning about these angles as it helps you to maneuver through life and keep some sort of balance. Again, thanks to Sawke for forwarding it to me.

Very interesting documentary. Ambition and drive to be rich and wealthy…
    The questions I have is;
Who is stopping me from creating a new Kinko’s? Or any other business??
My family is very adamant on diplomas which is not a bad thing and my parents frown on the fact that I am not willing to go to school to learn how to be a good employee.
I need to own an control my own stuff.
There is indeed an imbalance between the rich and the poor, why stay poor?

They said the 1% is anyone who makes about 1 million dollars a year. Now with that being said if you start a successful food chain you can clear that. I think people think too big when 10 restaurants probably yield that.

The imbalance will only get bigger especially since everyone lost their money in this recession. I was more interested in the super rich kind of hiding and feeling guilty about this disparity. But, they didn’t get up and change anything they just choose to hide from it as much as they could.

It really helps to explain why people are correcting the problems that we see in society. So armed with that one can move forward not expecting someone to see what they do and finance it. You have to do everything on your own and we have to understand that going in.

This reminds me of the play Dough Podcast…I didn’t see any 24″ rims or any other bafoonery

The desire to “bling out” is funny and sad too, When you are truly wealthy, there should not be any need for it.
The more money I make, the more discrete I become, of course I want a nice/good car and a decent spot to live but I have no intention of proclaiming my ends like that.
It attracts the wrong type of attention…

@ FreeMan, we should not expect anything from the rich, I only want them to stay out of my way and not impeach me while I hustle. I have a few friends with that guilt trip thing about being 2e or 3rd generations rich kids and it’s very annoying they are totally skewed and not in the same reality as me.
My reality is I am not where I want to be yet. My friends feel guilty and take various drugs to forget their guilt or do crazy things for attention because they were sent to boarding school. I have no time for such nonsense.

@Gordo – It is operating from a similar theme of the PlayDough Podcast. People might see this documentary and think those are white people but truthfully rich is it’s own class and desires. A man who has money doesn’t desire the same as the man without it. The film is excellent to show exactly why people are the way they are. It’s a film primarily on class!

@Neil – The rich are not aliens and in fact you want to be rich too. So let’s not talk about them like they are a different breed. Every level has different devils and rich kids have their own devils they have to overcome.

The goal to me is to notice that they don’t even care. Not like they are mean but that poor people are not on their radar. When people are suffering they want empathy or sympathy but when you aren’t suffering you don’t feel other people’s pain. The rich don’t feel your pain and that’s the truth. So we don’t need to put them down as much as we need to understand where they come from and prepare for potential conflicts in thinking.

The rich, just like you; have been discrete with their whole life. So why would you expect them to understand when they have been making sure they never even have to interact with it.

Interesting Documentary. Has giving more drive to get weathly. And the poor going broke to look rich the poor have it backwards.

Oh yeah that Documentary is a Eye Opener. The way they shut down schools to get poor people to move out is absolutely nuts. There is so much about money that all of us need to get up on that it’s crazy when you see it on film.

It’s a scam homie straight up. LOL, next week podcast is talking about it being a scam.
