Rags to Riches

Reading time: 3 – 4 minutes

There really isn’t such a thing in the United States. Now maybe in other countries they literally are in rags but c’mon no one here was living outside in the elements. Rags to me symbolizes that a cat really didn’t have the know how to capitalize on the hustles that surrounded them. I mean even in Compton cats were making money legally but I just wasn’t up on it so I thought there was nothing there to build on. Now that I am older and have been from West to East and back West again I see all kinds of ways I could’ve made money.

Wipe the disgust out of your eyes about where you currently are in life and see how other cats who are in your same situation are stacking chips. Look you are on the internet right now you could be looking up hustles that work in London, Quebec, Paris, New York and even the next city over. See what you have to do is start to recognize money even when you are emotionally in a bad way. Now not having much sucks ass (believe me I know) and it’s hard very hard to shake what you see and concentrate on what will be. But, when you  don’t clear your mind of the negative you are blocking your Hustle similar to the way religious people tell you that you are blocking your blessings.  Most cats who are in a bad way concentrate so much on surviving they don’t even donate 5 minutes a day to coming up with a way to thrive. In order to really make money you have to learn how to balance your emotions because what you are feeling right now will feel the exact same way when you open up shop. The same worry and disappointment and low self-esteem will creep right back up and make you feel depressed.

Money is all around you where you happen to be. You got to stop dreaming about hitting it big and just concentrate on hitting the ball. So many people don’t start anything because they step up to the plate trying to hit a homerun when money is really created by picking up enough rags to make a quilt and selling that at the flea market. See most people who you consider Rich did not get a loan and lost all their friends trying to make it. Rich doesn’t always start from Rich in fact most Rich starts from Rags. So take heart in knowing that someone already made it from exactly where you started from. It’s not impossible it’s just you have to not give in or give up like all the people who happen to be surrounding you right now. Rich people usually had their own vision even though they were mired in poverty. Rich people created the opportunities even when no one else believed in them. Rich people can usually see the big picture and can piece together Rag hustles knowing they are on the way to Riches.

Solution: So don’t feel bad you are in the Rag stages of your Hustle, the more you read the more you’ll find out so were most of the Titans of Wealth. Recognize what you can do where you are and dominate that before allowing what you don’t have to ruin where you want to be.

Everyone starts from nothing but since you only see the results people make it impossible. I feel you on this one. Everyone starts from where they are.

I know it’s hard to see during your own survival but those who can be calm in the storm usually do big things.

I was just at the Barbershop today and all I heard was depressing talk about what isn’t and what’s coming. The only beacon of light was the Laker game (which they got blew out by OKC) until this cat came in there trying to sell Black Soap. He got a couple of buyers and then got on his way. I sat back thinking to myself that’s the cat that said I’m going to do something despite the circumstances. Everyone starts off small so folk should not concentrate on where they have to start from but instead concentrate on starting period.

Welp just change the way you see it. The job is a means to an end. The bills will disappear as you pay them off. The business will start small and only get bigger. Everyone has to start somewhere it’s just the question is are you starting something or enduring something. If you’re starting something then this is part of the plan so buck up and just push through it.
