Angle of Money

Most people you know keep waiting for that one big idea to hit. They think if they can sell that one product they are going to be a millionaire. Me, on the other hand I always thought more on the angle of how can I make 100 a week 10 times. See when you really think about making money it’s a multiplier effect that really makes a lot of money. Now I’m not saying that the other way won’t work but it seems like a all or nothing way. Remember you always hear me talking in terms of volume because unlike the rest of you I know if I can make a 1 dollar profit a million times I’m a millionaire. I also know it’s very much possible to make 1 buck from 1 million people even if I had to beg.

So going with the theme of the Blog to put you up on game I wanted to make you change your mind about money. This will help you to laugh at people when they think your hustle isn’t paying off. It only takes so much for you to be alright in this world and stand on your own two feet. So here’s my case study….

Let’s say I want to make 3000 a month… Hmmm….. I start to think I need 10 people to give me 300 bucks or I need 300 people to give me 10 bucks. Then I say can I sell something and make a buck to 3000 people. Then I think where are those 3000 people. Really I get frustrated and say the internet always has 3000 people so that’s my pocket market but I like to be outside so let’s go.

1. Cookies – I think I can make and sell oven baked cookies to the barbershop for 5 bucks a pop and guilt them into buying 6 bags of 5 cookies per weekend. That’s 30 bucks a week and 120 bucks a month!
2. Bottled Water – If I stand in the middle of the street on a hot day I know I can move 100 or more. My profit will be like 70 bucks so if I do that everyday for 4 hours from 10am to 2pm I should get that. 350 bucks a week 1400 a month
3. Website – I need to come up with a product that is already packaged that I can resell online for next to nothing like jewelry. I think I can create a quick website with paypal reselling jewelry, incense and oils. On top of that I can move them when I hit up the beauty salon for the cookies. So let’s give that only 100 bucks a month.
4. Curb Painting – Let’s say I sprinkle 100 flyers in my neighborhood and and get 20 to 40 people who want me to paint their curb for 5 bucks. That means I made 100 to 200 bucks a month from that hustle.
5. Dog Walking – Let’s say I sprinkle some flyers in a condo building or apartment building to walk dogs. Let’s say I only get 2 people but that’s 20 bucks a hour once a week. So that’s 40 bucks a week 160 a month.
6. Publicity – Let’s say I reach out to people with small businesses online and tell them I will get them more traffic to their site or twitter page for 20 bucks to test me out. If I get 5 to 10 companies to give me a try I make 200 bucks a month from that and I can email the same people.

So you get the picture.. Did I make 3000 let’s see 120 + 1400 + 100 + 200 + 160 + 200 = 2180! Nope but I sure as hell got it tax free so it’s like I made 3000. See what I want you to get is that you don’t need the one big hustle to make it as 10 small ones making 300 dollars a month will make 3000. Don’t ever get caught up in trying to make one work the best if you are good enough to make all of them work to their capacity all at the same time you’re going to make a hell of a lot of money.

This is the angle on money that I follow. When people think that I am not making as much money as I should I laugh. I have my business, I have stocks making money everyday, I have websites making money everyday, I have consignment deals working everyday and I am always in the lab thinking of my next hustle that I can turn into being part of the top 10. Just execute all of your hustles at the same time no matter how small they are because all money is good money when you are getting money from 10 different places.

Change your mind about making money in this recession. No one is hitting a homerun with that one big idea that’s why every fast food place has dollar menus. They have switched from charging you 6 dollars for a burger down to 1 dollar burgers knowing you are going to buy 6 items. Same money just it came to them through 6 products. Once you get this kind of thinking in your head you’ll stop feeling bad that your online company only makes 500 bucks a month. To me I’m saying “Cool” now I need to come up with 9 more that make 500 a month so I can have 5G’s a month tax free!
