To Catch A Predator – Podcast

This is part two of the Who Are the People Podcast . When you finally get above those who don’t believe in you, you’ll run into those who do and want to make money off of you. These cats come in all size, shapes and races. It comes from the same hate that hate produced but in this case they put their hate on the backburner and kept money in focus.
Now that you have overcome what needed to be overcame you run into the leeches that exist on the new level. Unlike the crabs in the barrel that you escaped these are the leeches who catered their whole career to exploiting you.
Here’s a brief rundown of the predators we will disgust oops I mean discuss today:
- The Charmer – person who tries to charm you like a woman, by congratulating and buttering you up.
- On The Take – person who is a thief and carries a thief mentality.
- Recruiter – person who tries to use you to make money. Will try to use what you have for his benefit.
- Puzzler – person who pieces together friends that may help them in the future.
- Side Buster – person who attaches to you to get somewhere, brings no talent or gifts to your game.

Man I loved this podcast..I had a friend just like the charecter you described. I mean this dude is 30 years old with a baby still lives at home with his parents and I mean every convo I have with this guy he’s saying how he knows this person & that person talking about how others dudes are winning and etc.. basically a groupie..but the thing that’s funny is that he knows all these people in high places but no way to translate that into revenue
Welcome Gordo! Yeah nowadays people rather talk about money and who has it like somehow that means they know about money. Male groupies are a problem as most guys don’t even realize that they are keeping track of their idols like a little girl watching the disney channel. Knowing everyone who makes money doesn’t translate into crap unless you make a magazine and it’s your job.
I didn’t realize these cats you described until I met a very rich millionaire who is real famous and hung out with him. I never saw so many fake people all in his face, all around him, shaking my hand like we cool like I knew everybody. I was laughing at the guy with the toupee – that’s when I realize these kind of cats around me.
The one person I have around and I know they will read this is the “woe is me” cat who always got problems and draining your money. They got a new problem every week and they think you should give it to them because they in your circle..
If you read the A.G Gaston Titan book he describes this issue in full. People will assume one of those characteristics even if you aren’t rich. It can be because they heard you are and that you might be able to help them. So Rich not always in $$$$ but Rich in know how can also attract these kind of predators. I can only imagine what happens when people know what you really have and keep looking for ways to befriend you….
I don’t have a misery cat around me because just like them I’m trying to stay optimistic and motivated in the middle of the Great Recession. People are reaching for straws right about now and anyone who is semi-successful will probably be surrounded by vultures that are usually around the super rich who want to get put up on game.
“when you meet someone whose friends with everybody, their really friends with nobody”. Amen to that, that’s nothing but a ‘deceptacon’. “the man who needs everybody . . .” another truth too. Don’t forget though that family can be the worst predator.Sometimes it takes time for some people to see folks for what they really amount to though. I know it did for me because I always tried to see the good in people. . . It is truly better to stay low key in all aspects of you’re life.
Family is family the problem is when they say something it affects you. But, since most people don’t understand money your family is no different and will not act any different from the average person. So you have to cut them a break while you try to do for self because no one will understand. Everyone in my family thought I was crazy when I started on my own.
You have to remember there are a lot of people who spend their whole life trying to get money from people who have money. It’s the American Way! So you have to be prepared when all of these people show up to take money from you by faking it. They are predators but if you stay low key like you said they won’t be able to find you.
Brother Freeman I loved this podcast. Oh yeah thanks for what you did in February most people don’t bother to explain how. There are more haters in this game getting up than staying at the bottom and dealing with the have nots huh? I think we all know a guy who knows everyone and you’re right he usually is a friend to no one. Keep up the good work.
Your Welcome! I’m just didn’t want to keep doing theory without doing something concrete. Predators exist on all levels in this game that’s why most cats with chips are on the low. That’s why you know the cats who show probably don’t have any dough.
Freeman good podcast good post also.Thanks. I had a friend I grew up with he is one of of those cats that’s always talking about the next mans chips. I had to get away from him. Now everything I do is on the low. I stay away from of cats.
It’s a shame that so many people from so many different walks of life all know one of the cats on that list. They are all part of the game but if you know you are one or you are around any of these guys then you need to move on fast. Bumps in the road are all they really are.
The moral of all stories involving money is to be quiet about your chips. There is nothing to gain by being out causing a stir about your money. It’s just stupid.. Don’t worry I’m talking about that exact topic on the next podcast Monday!
after reading your posts I realized I had to check myself. I was the cat leeching trying to get as much free ish from friends, family etc. Telling cats I was showing love instead of showing respect for their hustle and giving them bread for their services or product. Now with dealing with my own hustle I’m about shaken dudes that act like that and start building with people who want to help me get to this bread.
Welcome The Shaw! It’s the way a lot of us came up so it’s natural to spot cats who have this kind of mentality. But, like you when you start to have your own you realize you don’t want any cat like that leeching from you.
The bad part about it is you got to repair your name to cats especially family. Now that you are trying to build you might have to go it alone for a while until people forget the past.

Yeah that’s why I didn’t go with BlogTalkRadio as I didn’t want to give them free advertising with I make the content. I wouldn’t be consistent with my message if I let someone else put me on RIGHT?

I was expecting the Catch a Predator theme music with that white guy catching perverts. Either way you always get me “Checking my perimeter” to see if I have any of these leeches around me. I guess that’s why you keep telling us to be quiet about money so we don’t attract these leeches.
I actually was thinking about putting that altogether but then I ran out of time. I keep telling you to be quiet because we all need to control our own vanity. Money and the pursuit of recognition lead to damn near everyone’s downfall.
