Kids In the Game Podcast (In the Black Series)
Reading time: 1 – 2 minutes
So many of us know exactly what we wished someone would have put us onto when we were kids. As an adult you know if someone would’ve pulled your coat and forced you to learn how to make money it would have been worth it today as a man. This podcast is to give you a real reason why you should be forcing your children, nieces and nephews to learn how to make money. Why it is of vital importance for you to indoctrinate your kids into the proper mentality so it can be perfected before it really counts!

Holiday Freeman still dropping fire. I loved this podcast because you are right people always say they wished someone would’ve told them and here I am with kids and I’m slacking on my job. Great podcast as I think I’m going to do the same thing your moms did. Pushing candy is the greatest entry level hustle for a kid. Now I don’t know about putting him out on the blocks but I get what you mean about them not being intimidated to not take their money. Great Podcast.
Yeah I might keep this post up for a another day being that people really love to celebrate Dead Presidents. Yeah, mayne get it down to the kids because everyone needs a businessman in the family. More than a lawyer the person who can produce and teach others to produce is of vital importance.
I teach my kid how to take his old toys and have his own garage sale and haggle with the other kids who want to buy his old toys.
I let him have 100% of the money and he loves it. When we go in to trade games and they want to give him next to nothing, he knows how to say “nah” and realize their price is too low.
When we go to Dave and Busters and he got 2,000 points on his card, he doesn’t have impulse to get something and will say he will wait to accumulate more points.
I still got a lot to teach but I remember going out with my old man helping him fix washing machines and he gave me a cut of the money he made..that was rewarding and an exciting feeling.
It is probably the number one reason kids get into the drug dealing game and stay there because those were probably the only cats that taught them how to make money hustling…
Once they got it they got it because they will relate it back to what they remember doing when they were kids. I agree with you that the kids selling dope were put on and trained to make money and rewarded with money and respect. We are doing a horrible job with our kids because we think having the ability to sell is a lower job. When the ability to sell is what business is about. We have traded raw cash for presentation in this game and most people are suffering in this recession because of it.
In my neighborhood we were called Hustlers so as a kid I wanted to make money. When I did I got rewarded by people on the block and the elders because I was a go getter. That raw reward system made me have confidence to keep pushing for the rest of my life. Call it naivete but I still believe everything I create will blow up. It only comes from a blind optimism that a kid has because they don’t ask questions they just do and try until it works. Without any books kids learn how to modulate their voice and to remember what sold the best. No books, no formal training just getting out there to make it happen.
If we want to have a society of doers we have to teach them how to get it done.
