Quickbooks is a part of business that’s not in the books but it’s very necessary. Cat’s straight buy carbon invoices not knowing they could get them for free on Quickbooks. So put this in your backpocket and by the way I’m sure you’re backpocket is getting big.

It’s definitely worth the money. They will always tell you that you need the new version every year but I have been using the same one for at least 6 years so it’s unnecessary. Like you said it can do your personal finances and your business finances so it’s a great software buy. And did I mention it’s like 39 bucks!

Another excellent post Freeman! I agree Quickbooks is the best software for your accounting needs. I know a few people who use the software both for business and personal and they thank god that they have found a software that can handle practically all of their accounting needs. I haven’t had the chance to do use it myself but after this post i learned quite a bit more and feel more comfortable so i’m copping myself one.

Quickbooks will work for a small business for sure even a medium sized one.

C’mon Keish doing your taxes if you have W-2′s are easy. If you don’t own any property or anything it’s pretty much addition. You should sit down and do it for yourself as you are letting them charge you from your laziness. Don’t get scared because if you mess up the IRS will correct it for you. Just make sure you get it in on time.

Yes, I heard Quickbooks is an excellent software also.

Right now I’m learning my lesson about so called accountants with my personal taxes. I used to go to this place and the owner had his son doing taxes. They live upstairs from the place and would come down barely awake. So, the son messed up my taxes and put only one w-2 in the system when I had 2. I know it’s my fault because I didn’t read carefully but that bastard was supposed to know what he was doing. I ended up owing the IRS 3 grand and because they are a small spot, they don’t assume liability. I’m trying to learn at least how to fill out the tax paperwork myself so I don’t have to go thru that eva again or buy the electronic software.
