Excellent point here. I think too many of our folks are under the mistaken impression that you can proceed at things without being serious and focusing on that goal. We’re naturally social people. So we tend to think that we can add fun and games and music and dancing into any situation and still handle real business. How many times have you gone into a Black owned business and had to wait because the workers are laughing with each other about some personal matter?
To me it’s a shame because you always hear people jiving about money like it’s a joke. Men usually talk about women, drinking or drugs and then expect you to take them seriously. Women gossip about other women, fashion and being fat and then expect you to think they are business women. I’m not saying that we all don’t talk about these same things but not all the damn time. I might join in at the barbershop but no one would say that’s what I am about.
Like I said I tell Jokes I am not a Joke! People love to be entertaining and this game with real money is not made up of anyone joking around. To mix the two is like mixing business and pleasure ooops that’s exactly what’s going on!

Hey man hitting a nerve or not sometimes it pisses me off to talk chips with people and they revert back to some women talk. I’m not saying it’s not important as much as it’s not important or pertinent to what we are chopping it up about right now.
People look forward so much to the reward of business that they fail to conduct business. People look forward to coming in and mingling more than making chips. I know this is the way of life because everyone says TGIF so money is secondary. I get I really do I just don’t like to talk about BS when I’m trying to make money. Save that for 7pm while I’m watching the Lakers.
I had a lifelong friend I dropped years ago based on what you said.
I knew he was a bullsh*tter but I gave the benefit of the doubt. Well, one time, he up in Chicago talking about New York and Dominican females and ish. But he doubted I had any connects so I told him let’s run up there and he was like okay.
He got his own airline tickets and hotel confirmation via email courtesy of me. I also had some female Dominican friends up in NYC I hang out with clubbing and I asked if they can entertain my friend. It was all setup.
On the day before we suppose to run up there, this former lifelong friend of mine called me up and said he can’t make it because he got to go to work…..
Man I had so many trips canceled because of flaky cats you wouldn’t believe. I just don’t ask them about rolling to any other trips but I didn’t drop them from my friends. They just moved into another category of friends. I’ve been a lot of places in the country but I wouldn’t had like double if I wasn’t trying to coordinate with cats who play with money!

Well if you are trying to make something happen people who take it lightly usually get on your last nerve. I just shoot people the idea but never ask for their approval. I look for them to critique it as if they were using it but sooner or later it turns into how they would do it. So that’s when I end it because I’m not trying to be you I’m asking if you would buy it.
Most people, unless they have been around another builder; do not think about building so they offer BS. So you have to either train people to think or you have to find people who already do.

I don’t necessarily think you have to drop them but you sure as hell can’t build with them. If building is what you are about the majority of the time you will naturally stop hanging around them as you have building to do.
Freeman your site is truly a BLSSING, This site has open my eyes to HUSTLING outside the box. I always talk about chips, but now chips is on my mind all day. I’m an up and coming Dj in the game in Minneapolis. So I’m grinding in this Dj game and now instead of playing music I’m selling music at the parties and I just got wifey a camera and a portable printer, because while doing parties, I never see any 1 taking pics, so I’m putting her in the game. I have a question, Can you explain why there are so many Cash For Gold spots starting to showing up in the hood, is it a good or bad thing. Will you have your podcast on itunes, because I need this info on my Ipod. I LOVE this site and thanks for giving up information on getting money.
When the economy is doing bad people buy up gold. Gold is the only thing around the world that holds value. Gold is gold so if you buy it with Mexican Pesos it’s still gold but you wouldn’t want mexican pesos. Gold has it’s own value while paper money (currency) is determined by how each country is doing. That’s why certain currencies are worth more than others. So they are in the hood buying up Gold to hold while the economy is doing bad. If it ever gets really bad those with Gold will be the New Masters as that will be the last thing that has value. So they are in the hood because most people don’t realize how valuable it really is.
I never even tried to put the podcasts on Itunes, I personally hate APPLE and don’t really want to help them get anything. They always try to lock people out of the game just like you and that Ipod won’t play regular MP3′s. I just been put on to your site by one of my guys, Dj. fade and I only listened to one other podcast before this one, this one was right on point I see some of the mistakes that I have made.
