The Question & The Answer
Reading time: 2 – 3 minutes
If you don’t know ask and if they don’t know copy. Go to the library, a seminar, go to the bookstore, check online, see if they have a message board, and ask your old professor. There are a lot of people who claim they know how to make money. If you will pay just 19.99 and follow the directions you to will become a Hustler. They do know how to make money but it’s from getting the Sucker to pay money for books, seminars, and public speaking when they can find it on their own.
There’s nothing wrong with reading books on certain things you might want to take on. In fact there is a whole list of great books that are recommended reading on the Recommended Books list. The only problem is the Sucker is searching for someone to give him the key. Every book can tell you everything you need to know in order to start any Hustle but they always leave out the one thing that can’t be communicated. They tell you how to file the papers, what to dress like and they even give you examples.
The one thing all those books cannot give you is Hustle. The author will not tell you how they got the sell, how they used their charm, how it was helpful that he was married, how it was helpful that he had made connections, or how it was just luck that they were there at the right time. It is rare to find a honest book about anything involving money where the person tells you it’s already within you. Hustle is confidence and knowing that the ultimate denominator cannot be found outside. You have to know the thing that makes money is in you and then decide you are willing to do what it takes to get it.
Solution: The Question & The Answer – is all within you, stop looking for it.

Took me a while to return but I’m back bruh! You’re right it’s the missing element of these books is urging you to get out there and adjust. Besides having a good product you have to learn a whole bunch of interaction techniques and marketing techniques and overall Hustle. I guess Hustle is the missing element.
Yep, it’s already in us but most keep looking in books and seminars and everything hoping to find a quick fix. If you aren’t willing then you won’t get it. Everyone reads but only a couple do!
I had to explain this exact point to someone on my blog – they acted as if I needed to sell them on the hustle I’m presenting to them!
I almost gave up blogging altogether thinking this whole effort was a lost cause if people are just going to read about hustle and not look at themselves, the world around them and take action for self.
No one can write in a book or speak on a DVD how someone need to have the basic desire to put food on the table for the family. A person can read or listen all they want but if they don’t have the hunter instinct to get their own food, they are going to end up starving..
Hey Ed, if I expected cats were going to move on the information provided I would charge them. My goal is to provide other avenues to chips. You and I know it’s a good idea but they have to conquer their fear of taking that first step.
I think you’re referring to initiative. You can have the best plan, but if you can’t get off your ass, it doesn’t do you any good.
Yep but without the curse words unless you literally mean ass like a donkey. LOL
See I look at this completely differently. I really don’t think the ability to do for self or even to answer some of the simple questions in life is within everyone. For me that’s a view point that’s come with maturity.
For example, I remember when I was a lot younger and I got involved with a MLM scheme (yeah another bad decision made because of a woman) I can remember how they kept spitting their party line that anybody could do this. At the time they were selling long distance telephone service (remember those days…wow!). I remember thinking; every body isn’t a salesman, so these folks are just lying so they can get more people under them so they can get more money.
The funny thing is that I found out that I actually could talk people into buying that sh*t but the only thing that kept me from being successful was the fact that I just didn’t want to do it. So that kinda supports your point here. But at the time I also dealt with so many people who just paid their money and no matter how much one-on-one training they had they were just incapable of signing up one customer.
I think the bottom line is that not everybody is a hunter/hustler. Some people’s best option is to get a nice comfy spot on a corporate plantation somewhere and be happy with that. Think about how weird the world would be if there weren’t such a vast supply of (to use your phrase). “customers”.
See I believe it’s in all of us but we have to find what area suits us best. I liken it to a QB that’s great in college but ends up on a bad team. The skills are there but if you are in the wrong system you will never be great. Some are lucky to get out from under others and find that area that they so called love. Others know early what they are good at and go into it.
The best option is always starting a business because you can find out through trial and error what are your natural talents. It’s just most people give up and jump into some BS company doing potlucks being happy with nothing. It’s a shame to watch someone who can do anything get stuck behind a desk justifying nothing.
