Welcome EMAN! A lot of this stuff is hidden so it makes getting up harder. We have the hustle if not more hustle than most people up there it's just that most lack the base to even start.

I'm sorry I'm talking in circles but it's not the news so I have all the time I want to explain. I think you should listen to other podcasts as they all are different. A lot of what I say is not scripted so you will hear things again as I regroup but hang in there you'll get used to it. The format is not going to lead to the weather or sports afterwards so like any other time in which someone is saying something you have to listen. If you want to listen it isn't that long if you're looking for a quick fix then it can take a while and I understand that.

Sprinkled through the podcasts are the basics but the title of the podcast wasn't THE BASICS. It was explaining how hard it is to get up from nothing and the reasons why.

It's not for everyone but for those who want to know I express my angles and for those who want to browse there's always looking up the basics of money on Google!

I like your posts and this is the first time I listened to a podcast. Honestly, I wish you would get to the point. I stopped listening half way through because you kept qualifying and talking in circles. I was hoping you would share some of these basics you learned.

@Marc - Thanks I appreciate the love man!

@Carl - Practical is just the intelligent replacement for I'm Scared! The Plantation is where most people want to be anyway because someone is taking care of you. Someone else has to worry about making sales and someone else gets to tell you what you deserve.

I think it's the generation because my own mother wanted me to stop like 10 times saying that's good enough. I just had to tell her to let me finish. Some people didn't learn this early enough in life so they see the whole thing as impossible.

Anybody looking for “practical” should shut up and get back to work on whatever plantation they’re slaving on. I think my father used that phrase a few years ago when I told him I was going to quit my “good job” and start my own business. I didn’t want to disrespect my elder by telling him what a slave-mentality having jackass he is. So I told my uncle (his older brother) about it and he told him what a dumbass he is. I suggest that guy practically get back to picking cotton, where it’s safe.

Marc I got to Keep it R&G as I ain't the cat for fame. This is me giving freely of what I know and how I connect the dots. I don't want to be known for telling as I still have some building of my own to do. So enjoy the angles because I never planned and don't plan to be doing this forever!

Baby steps are missing and that's why people can't jump the hurdle!

Dang Freeman, nice segment, man!! Dude, have you ever thought about dropping a public access channel into the sauce or something to that effect?? No, seriously, this type of content is absent but seriouly needed. See, i like Tavis Smiley, he's good, but he don't dig as deep into the barrel as you(i.e., where did you get your 1st thousand to start your business)see, that type of info is vital, FM!! People need to hear that!! Oh, well, just a thought, lemme get back to these books,yo!! But, well done, my brutha, well done.

@Freedom - Well people just take other people's ideas on how to make it when you already have the key. The rest of the stuff can be followed by steps but Hustle is harder and is the key ingredient. Most of the time when you start you don't know what to do so you do what you think is best. That is the best part of business because you adjust on the fly and you figure things out from doing not from reading.

Booker T had it right because I still judge most people on what they built not on what they happened to study.

@Ed - It's the books brother it's the books. They got you worried about getting grants and loans when all you have to do is get a small sample and see if it'll work. The base of any business is just a hunch and some hustle.

Well I took the practical to mean they want me to acknowledge that it's not guaranteed. DUH! Like I said the only thing in life that is guaranteed is you not making any money if you don't stick your neck out for it. We got a lot of egg heads and no chickens crossing the road in this game. They take pride in knowing instead of doing. To the point where they think making money is beneath them and it's stupid to talk about money in the first place. Like you said staying alive is impractical.

Folks just want guarantees and I knew I had to address it before people start the anti-R&G just to let the world know FreeMan isn't talking about how hard it really is. So what it's hard, it is for everyone; so what are you going to do about it? Read a Book and shit!
