Uniform Money

133968405_38e9122aa9If you went into a bank and saw a teller with a tattoo on his neck would you give him 5K to deposit into your account? Would you give him 1K? Be honest would you give him 100 dollars to deposit for you? Most if not all would wait on someone else to hand their money over too, if they would even stick around to give that money to that bank at all. The reason for this is because this Sucker is sitting there not respecting the uniform of money.

Sometimes you have to dress in a suit and tie or that pants suit! Suckers want to go out there on the street like you just woke up and show everyone the sweat on your face as proof that you are grinding. Suckers want them to buy your product or service to even though your shirt is dirty. Suckers want them to take a chance on you and hand over their money and look pass all of your flaws. Sorry Sucker that just doesn’t happen in this world.  All the corn roll, french braid, moussed up hairstyles, fancy dresses, skittle colored shoes, butterfly collars, diamond crusted watches, earrings, limos, red carpets, designer shades, lights, cameras, and all won’t get Money’s respect. I’m sorry to tell you that your Steve Harvey suit will not get money’s respect either. Now I know when you watch TV it looks like it, but that’s show dough. All you see on TV is what another Hustler is selling to Suckers and telling them it’s Money.

Money respects Money and if you don’t have that it respects a person willing to look like they can be trusted with it. Money doesn’t have a style. Money is boring looking, black, blue and gray. Money is well cut, tailored and manicured. Money is clean, ironed, dry cleaned. Money is calm, cool and collected. Money is the accumulation of alot of simple things put on to make a presentation of trustworthiness. So in order to get money you have to put on all the things that money respects just to get in the door. If you cut grass wear a green jumpsuit, if you wash windows come up with your bucket and your squeegee, if you sell magazines dress like they helped make you a success, if you sell candy make sure you have white teeth, if you sell water drink one and make it look refreshing, if you want a job wear a suit and tie or a pantsuit even if it’s not required.

Bottomline: Everything on this earth has a certain look to it, be mindful of this as you begin your Hustle. If a Hustler wants to truly succeed you have to respect the Uniform of Money.

Dude, you put up some good information all this week about how to approach the business game that is essential reading for beginners. These are the things if I known from the get-go, I would have made it further early on than learn the hard way.

I passed out your CD to my barber and some street cats and they liked what they heard. This is the real-world stuff they don’t read in these Black business-orientated magazines because those people at those magazines are “writers”, not hustlers who can relay the game the way it is.

I like the fact you didn’t say “wear a suit because it makes you look important” like the typical Black business writers and cornballs who call themselves career consultants. I like how you explain how you need to wear a suit to look like money in front of real money and that’s really what’s it about.

Real money knows what a real business suit look like so cats need to stay away from JC Penny and get with the Hong Kong tailor or get the $2,500 suit. I’m glad you pointed out Steve Harvey because I had to interject on a young brotha looking at that suit in the mall as I see he was looking for a business suit.

I told him to spend the $160 Airtran Saturday day-trip ticket to fly up to NYC,DC or Chicago and go to Filene’s Basement where they actually have last year $2,500 Armani suit on sale for $299. That would be a lot better than wearing some cheap looking ish from the shopping mall or the pimp suit store.

Thanks Man for the compliment and spreading the word! One by One.

Well I hate dressing up to tell you the truth but I do understand it’s necessary to give the impression that you take MONEY seriously. This is the angle I teach my nephew because he hates them too. He thought he would have to wear them everyday and I told them it’s like going to the football game you dress up in your team colors but you don’t have to wear them everyday. I told him most likely the people that do work for a company that wants people to take them seriously. Otherwise it’s a uncomfortable look with a tie at your neck, keep dry cleaning shirts and the fabric of the pants are thin and for short term use.

I used to go to Filene’s Basement too up in NY and you can get a nice Armani suit for barely anything. I used to pull them off the rack and take them to my tailor. Once you get to know your basic size as a man you can start to accumulate nice suits and have them on deck if you need them. I have the standard Black, Blue & Gray with a lot of slacks to interchange.

    Have a good Holiday!

I’ve been telling people real money looks boring FreeMan! It don’t mean you have to speak the king’s english but it does mean you have to look like you are on the court. I agree with ed as this is the kind of reason and information I wish someone would’ve told me when I started going into the world. You’re right no one likes wearing this stuff because it’s temporary clothing but everyone always smothers it in gravy saying if you want to look important. Do something important and then let your clothes follow right? Good spit mayne.

Good post. I’ve been saying that for years, that you not only have to play the part, you have to look the part as well. A man should have no less than 2 suits in his closet ready at all times. You can’t make a business deal in a throwback or a 6X white T.

@Califormula – You’re right it does look boring, because when you have it you don’t have to look like you have it anymore. Until we get it we have to make sure we look the part to get access to it. That’s all dressing up is about PERIOD! People just want you to dress up for no damn reason and say that’s what a man is. NO, you only need to wear it when necessary.

Like I said earlier the clothes are made of thin material, that have to be dry cleaned and the tie which is a ornament is completely unnecessary and the shit is choking your neck! All other clothes that fit this description have to be washed in Woolite and are worn by women as undergarments. So these clothes aren’t for everyday they are for getting access or making an impression that gains access. Cat’s just got the game backwards because if they were supposed to be worn everyday they would be built like your jeans!

@TrueMan – Well if you’re going into the game then you need to play the part. All other games have equipment whether that be shoulder pads, high tops, mitts and driving gloves. So although no one calls Money a game, like they should; it still requires a uniform.
