We all like to talk about money but once you actually start to make some you better learn how to talk about is so it can be received properly. Most Suckers love to talk money and don’t care how people interpret it, they are quick to label people Haters. Really they have a lazy tongue and don’t know how to say the exact same thing but in a more appealing way. This podcast is teaching you how to still be about your chips but how to wrap it up in the greater good! Download HERE

People got a lazy tongue huh? You sure do make it sound devious but I agree that’s the way the big boys do it so whey can’t we!
You know I see how you could call a person lazy who speaks directly. I mean it really does take a lot less effort to say exactly what’s on your mind. At the same time, depending on the audience, there are real negative consequences to speaking your mind. So if your only goal is to gain financially or whatever the reward may be in a given situation; then you should make every effort to obfuscate your true message by modulating it for a given audience. In other words, be a politician.
On the other hand, if you’re the kind of person who places truth to yourself above material gain; then you have to tell the unfiltered truth.
Hey man I read The Prince too and I appreciate the value of the message. But I also know that kind of situational approach to ethics is not for everyone. And anything less than the complete truth is just that.
@OTM – It’s not devious actually its money over matters! In all situations you have to think about what goal you want to get accomplished instead of who you want to confront.
@Carl – Well you run the risk of just being heard and not followed! You have to decide if you want people to know the unfiltered truth or if you want people to change their direction that leads to the unfiltered truth. While the truth may be applauded and known by many, few if any truly follow.
In the context of money there’s absolutely no reason to let your own strident view jump in front of your financial goal. If we are talking about influencing people the unfiltered truth not broken down in steps leads to people knowing but not being able to do anything about it.
Overall I agree but unless you are talking to a like minded individual who can accept the truth you are doing yourself a disservice by being blunt when you know it won’t accomplish anything!
This is a great podcast that should be considered essential listening to any cat trying to get it cracking on the business tip. Cats promoting value to the customer, even if the cat is behind the scene screaming “f*ck you, pay me”.
I see this issue a lot with amateur-hour entrepreneurs who think the business is some popularity contest or ego extension instead getting money and meeting customer demands.
You can tell a true hustler by their resume. Cornballs list job history and ish on resumes while hustlers write everything on that resume geared to the next employer, telling them what they want to hear…
See cats do it when they talk to women all the time! Why can’t you apply game to business where you will try to present the benefit to them. What’s funny is cats are willing to spend 50 bucks on a date but are unwilling to work on schmoozing clients.
The whole game is giving the impression that you are a good person physically, mentally and spiritually. That requires some real work because most people don’t think it’s worth it. You can’t say the right thing all the time but you can shut up until you come up with it!
I see what you mean because some times people want to put their emotions and their agenda in front of their conversations. Maybe you should’ve named this one Time & Place because in essence that is what you are saying. To adjust your speech in order to be effective no matter what the situation you leave them with a good impression and you didn’t ruffle any feathers.
It’s lunch time so I got time to talk about the podcast! Man I love it! Like you said people hear more than they read so I started downloading it on the way to work.
So in WEST terms you are saying you can talk about snaps but not in a way that it seems that you are frontin! You have to talk in a way that disarms people by talking about how you are filling a need that benefits us all.
Genius! I’m going to try it out when I hit up those things you hate NETWORKING here in the Bay! Good spit FreeMan good spit!
@on the move – Right, it’s just adjusting the frequency of your conversation a bit to make sure people walk away with what you want them to know. With money no one cares about what the hell is bugging you so why ever speak so blunt. It doesn’t make Cents!
@N.Califormula – Snaps & Spit Patna Mayne! LOL see most cats think you are lying but realistically you are emphasizing a outcome that will be more acceptable. It’s not lying if you say what people will appreciate it’s really just selectively talking to you clients. Since this is chips ooops I mean snaps then why would you not talk in a way that relaxes people’s pockets ya dig!
Most of the rich/wealthy people will tell you to focus on the process and the reason behind what you’re going and the money will follow. Russell Simmons “Do You” is a good read that focuses on that.
I agree! Truth be told man a lot of the other stuff doesn’t matter when it comes to making money. Like, Dislike, Republican, Democrat, Wife Beater, Happy or Sad doesn’t really need to be part of transactions. Also, it helps you stay focused because if it wasn’t about the chips you wouldn’t hang around these type of cats in the first place. This is why I always wonder what’s up with Networking because I don’t see any chips come out of it except a whole bunch of new friends who you have Networking for Nothing in common with!
That computer hustle is a good ideal…can you really sell them though??? I though they only accepted charity
