Message and the Messenger

Reading time: 2 – 3 minutes

chuck-pattersonHustle comes from so many different places you have to be able to accept it from anyone. From the bum to the lawyer to your pastor. Some are not worth respecting and could possibly be against you but ,you have to be able to separate the message from the messenger.
.
Hustle without Emotion is when it’s in it’s purest form. Hate, Greed, Revenge, Envy and Jealousy will cloud your Hustle. It will make you get off point and worry more about returning the favor to insignificant people and things. You have to maintain your independence in body, mind and spirit from everyone around you. You cannot inherit their beef, and their wars. You cannot take anyone’s opinion of any situation or person as truth without investigating it yourself. Their Hate will change the words of people who are not against you at all. Their recommendation will have you missing out on information that may not be helpful to them but maybe be crucial to you. Hustle is universal and doesn’t belong to any race, gender or status in life.
.
Be careful not to judge anyone by the way they look as the information is what you are after. While others may see them as outcasts, biggots, thieves, and overall undesirables you have to see past that to what they may offer. A lot of people read Mein Kampf (Hitler’s autobiography which means My Struggle/My Battle) even though they still hate Hitler. Why? There is something to gain from everyone on this earth no matter what they may have done. Hustle isn’t always about showing you how to make money. Hustle is about teaching you the technique and strategies to avoid pitfalls while going after money. A lot of information that doesn’t apply to money per se will yield strategies on handling situations that may come up on the way to attaining it.
.
Bottom Line: Hustle is like air so who cares where it comes from as long as you breathe it in.

I remember this old lady told me “The TRUTH is still the TRUTH even if comes out the mouth of a fool”. That’s kinda how I try to see things.

@Keish – Well all of it is like a puzzle. You pick up a piece here and piece there and you start seeing the big picture. I know for me the fact that I read so many books with different focus helped me to see things differently from everyone else. These books could be Chaos theory to how to invest in foreclosures but the authors were trying to get you to see things differently. You never know where that missing puzzle piece is going to come from.

@Freedom – I agree because everyone has their own point of view. A lot of people discount it because they want intelligence to be in a well dressed suit. Really you learn the most from those who have lost and usually they lost big. So that suit that most want to see is a illusion. A lot of people who have quit or settled are full of theories while those who have lost know the truth.

I think the best communicators are those who can break down complex concepts into simple terms that can be used by all.
I think this is why people often use sport or war metaphors to describe seemingly unrelated situations.

“Don’t be in a hurry to condemn because he doesn’t do what you do or think as you think or as fast.

I agree! What’s the use of having the solution if you unable to communicate it in simple terms for people to benefit from. This is why I always try to use analogies to show the parallel pattern and also try to paint the picture so whether you know the words or not you get the big picture.

I think no matter how much you know one has to admit that he/she can still learn something. If you keep yourself in the mode that there is more to gain I think you see people and situations as lessons to be learned.
