90% of why I write this blog is to share the game that I have learned to love with others. I grew up in a neighborhood where we all were trying to make money. As a youngling I was schooled on how you should respect money, make money and overall block out everything in life when in the pursuit of money. By sitting on the log next to people I soaked up more Hustle than trial by fire. I mean they were doing it and they made sure I understood how they messed up. I learned what personality is dominant and which one will never make it. I had a whole separate education by just being in earshot of what people were doing.

You hear people say the “Game is to be sold Not told”, but that’s just their ego talking. Every Hustler wants to think what they do is authentic but they know it came from them figuring out a pattern or someone putting them up on it. They also know it has nothing to do with them, and really any idea will work if the person will just ADD HUSTLE!

Even if you don’t have a Hustle how about share what you do at your job. The reason why other folk stay ahead is because they teach their kids exactly what they do instead of hoping college teaches them. This is what we all should do for our children so they can at least come into your job and contribute right away. Most employers will be glad to have a young new worker trained and ready. Hustle or Job you should teach your kids what you know!

The benefits of sharing the Hustle is watching other people take it in a new direction. The younger you are when you learn Hustle the more innovative you will be. The older you get as you learn Hustle you just copy what someone else is doing. Sharing the Hustle also allows new people to bring you new Hustles because they respect that you put them up on it. All Hustlers know they are a rare breed so once you create more Hustlers, more money will be made when you Hustle together. Oh yeah the last 10% is because to me Rise & Grind.com is a way to keep my Hustle Strong!

Bottom Line: Teach what you know to those who do not know!

I feel a on this post. However, the older you are does not mean you copy someone else it means that you started your late, but the Game has just begun for you and now that your mind is on a Trip the older (new) Hustler can still be innovated. It just took them a minute longer to get it!

The Mind is a terrible thing to waste and not use for the betterment of growth and teaching our children. In my case our beautiful Black children.

i agree wholeheartedly! this is why i get mad at my aunt who raised me….she thinks i should have known alot of things from birth…i’m like duh….you were the one raisng me, you should have tought me! lol but it’s all good cuz i’m gonna have my daughter out there selling hot dogs and candy next summer once she really gets the hang of counting money…she will most definitely learn how to make her own living.

@Freedom – Children or Friends of Friends of friends we just need to share the information. There are so many people starting from ZERO when they don’t have to. There are so many people discouraged because some egomaniac talks like only he or she is capable. All we have to do is tell what we know and people will pick the parts they need to move forward.

The whole game is selfish we just have to share for the sake of ourselves.

@Keish – Well as long as you end the cycle then we can forget about what we didn’t have. Can’t dwell on what we could’ve done if we would’ve had it, got to keep focused on now that we got it what are we going to do with it.

In my family we all sold candy door to door and that broke a lot of the fear from selling. I think if you get your daughter so used to Serving & Collecting then you’ll see the results when she becomes a teenager. The ability to convince and persuade someone to your point of view and to buy your product is always step 1 in any hustle.

Just talk to her in terms of building her own instead of getting a good job and you’ll see the difference.

Most people who have made it seem willing to teach others.
Warren Buffet comes to mind as a smart dude who mentors athletes on how to maximize their earning and investment power.
It seems that those that have done are searching for someone to listen.

@UBJ – I think it comes from two points 1. that it wasn’t that hard to do 2. that someone is hiding it and stopping people from realizing their true potential. I think that’s where I get mine from because I have a solution that will solve our petty problems and I want people to do for self so they can change the dynamics. No riots, no violence, no protesting and no begging just applying knowledge and taking care of yourself.

Buffet does it because he has their undivided attention and they are most appreciative. I mean what person doesn’t want people to follow what they say to the exact word! He has that kind of following and I appreciate him speaking and writing to share his angles on life.

This is why I suggest younger people get into multi-level marketing. It doesn’t matter what we think about, it is great skill building to teach young entrepreneurs how to get out there and pitch their stuff, realize this is the way they get paid and learn to network with others.

The one thing that I find very important is we need to find the real talent instead of the real talkers. Real talent can teach real techniques and you are right, I’m tired of people starting from zero.

When I see a brotha or sista still trying to be put on or selling out, it is sad because it means our people who hustled successfully during slavery and Jim Crow efforts were not taken seriously. The path to success will be a lot easier once we understand our past, put in the real work at the present and invest and plan for the future.

Hey FreeMan, I just wanted to come back through and say Thank you for what you are doing here at Rise and Grind. I am older than most, but I do SEE money so much differently now from what you are teaching here at Rise and Grind. I now understand that you are building a resource center here for those who want to come here and learn and gather information to be successful, understand money and implementing what we learn.

I also wanted to Thank your Brother for having you read “How come THAT idiot’s Rich and I’m Not” when you were at FreeMan Press and you shared with us over there about reading this book. I have come to realize I have been a RUB for so long, but I also realize I don’t have to stay that way!

    Thanks again and….

Keep it coming because I agree with Keisha it’s good to have people/mentors like you that we can bounce ideas off, talk to about making money, or just about money in general.

@Ed – MLM is irritating but I got to agree with you it’s a great tool to teach persuasion. I haven’t found a MLM worth working with yet but that’s because it’s usually associated with inferior products. I always wonder if MLM would be successful with something of worth. I think Avon is a MLM scheme too and Amway.

Personally I think they can all teach but some cats think if they spread information then they are creating competition. When in reality it takes a little bit more heart and hustle to start a business than just having the information. We start from Zero because we have failed to share ideas and make a new level of common sense in our communities. Every other group builds upon what the community knows and shares with each other.

We have proof of information sharing in the sense of how hustle can spread throughout the USA like the dollar water hustle. So the communication and dissemination system is in place it’s just we have to supply Building Block information not children’s books door to door scheme sourced by another group!

@Freedom – I’m just doing my duty. People always wonder what they can do to improve our folk and the least you can do is share your understanding and your angles in life. The more we talk about money and the more we break down the obstacles the more you have to think about taking your shot. That’s the reason behind R&G because I know if I keep addressing all the myths sooner or later you have no excuse but to give it a try. It might take me some time but I’ll tackle them all and confront the liars who make it seem like only the blessed can make money!

Yeah, “Why is that guy Rich and I’m not” book is a great understanding of the mentality of people who make a business. There are some simple changes anyone can make to their mentality that will increase their chances of being successful in business. I have another one I’m reviewing right now that is more Big Picture that I have to take some time to position before I let it out because it might be to much over people’s heads, but I’m preparing the ground for this book.

We all just need someone to talk to that doesn’t judge you and your ideas. As long as the internet is up I’ll try to do my part. All ideas work, even if I can’t see it happening; you just have to push yourself to bring it into being!

I’m glad you are confronting the liars that make it seem like only the blessed can make money because the TRUTH is that we are all blessed to make money because we all have a brain!

The liars try to keep the body and snatch the mind! I am coming in peace. And it is the folks that don’t judge are the ones that make the greatest impact.

Hey if the internet goes down you’ll have to write a book!

@Freedom – Well AMEN to that and Hallelujah to the rest! LMBAO

I got a book on deck that I am working on but most likely it’ll be free along with a Audio book that people can listen to. I didn’t start this to write books but if books is one of the mediums I can use for change SO BE IT!

Hey that’s kinda what Robert did. He got tired of his friends, family and people asking him how he made it. So he wrote it down and just started handing them out when folks asked.

  12. FreeMan wrote:

Or that’s what Robert says he did so you can fall for the con that he wrote the book to help people. Really if he wanted to help people that way there wouldn’t be a series of books regurgitating the same thing but in a different way. But, that would sound like a con so it’s better if we said he got tired of people asking him how he made it.
