The problem it’s usually the remark of someone who doesn’t have any money and is trying to make you join their miserable life of being a have not! Well this podcast actually came to me from doing some reading over at Dream and Hustle. Now I’m not going at the person who said it but she sparked my brain enough to make me talk about it. Please quote me correctly. I said the LOVE (meaning LUST) of money is the root of all evil. I never once said that being wealthy is evil. Reading is fundamental. Perhaps if you weren’t all in your boy’s azz, you would have understood my comments.
If you love/lust money to the point that you will do anything to get it, then there is a problem. I do not care what you say. The ends do not justify the means. You do not have to be evil or do evil things to obtain or generate wealth. Selah. You do not have to sell your soul to the devil to obtain wealth. You are not evil just because you have wealth. Hello.
You and your boy will learn who I am very soon. You guys have prejudge me. I am a wealthy woman. My motto is: “Romance without the finance is a nuisance.” So sit your azz down.
And yes, I teach my children not to just play the sports, but to own the team. Selah.

@Attorneymom – If you listen closely to the podcast I said you may have brought it up but I wasn’t arguing or going at you. I just used to the topic to speak upon Phrases of Failure that most people use in our community about money. Like I said I don’t know who you are and this is the first time we have ever even interacted so why would I create beef with you over what a stupid phrase.
C’mon with the threats like you are going to do anything to me. I happen to be a attorney too so what are you going to do to me throw a book at me. Save the threats for people who get intimidated by your title because I ain’t the one now and I wasn’t the one when I wasn’t an attorney! Keep all your Duck Tales on Disney where they belong!

Oh by the way I think Ed offers good information on his blog and I don’t mind giving credit where credit is due. It doesn’t challenge my manhood to point out that another cat is on his job! Daaaang, FreeMan, ‘ole girl sounds bitter. She probably should have mentioned that the Bible also tells us that “life and death are in the power of the tongue”, so, speak words of life, people!! But, yo, that podcast is a good look. Admittedly, I’ll be the first to say that i’ve struggled w/that sayin’ for years until i got tired of being broke. Thanks for further elaborating on the subject.

Thanks for the compliment I just wanted to put something out there about how these sayings don’t make any damn sense! No one investigates what they really mean and when you find out it makes you wonder who’s teaching this ish from the Bible this way! If we don’t shake these stupid sayings we are going to inhibit our hustle!
I hated I waited so long to listen to this podcast, because this one belongs in the Hall of Fame! Im glad somebody is speaking on the delusional “Put it in God’s hands” mentality and exposing hypocrites! I definitely agree with your premise that you cant get your mind right listening to people who peddle magic potions and prayers. Im burnin this to CD for some of my people!

Awww man I know you got things going down at your spot that’s why I left them up and didn’t take them down! We got some Money Blockers distorting words and overall discouraging people from making money by wrapping it up in something mythical and magical. I just wanted to put that out there because people know it doesn’t make any sense but since no one corrects it now it takes on traditional historical significance.
