Thanks man, that is some sound advice. I know with what I'm trying to do if/when it does take off travel will be necessary, and I'd hate the ideal of wanting to move some where else or invest some extra cips but couldn't because I listened to the Jonses. Yeah I read Rich Dad Poor Dad when I was 17 that was the book that sparked my interest. It has some good info in it.

Until you're ready and you know where you want to settle down why buy a house? Also read Rich Dad Poor Dad and you'll see a house is never a investment.

I lived a lot of places and if I would've bought a house I wouldn't have seen any of them because my money would've been tied up. If you plan to chase this money and you're young then follow it wherever it takes you and you'll have a better more lived life than most people you meet.

You have to stop listening to your friends and stop telling them your plans. You will leave them all and come back and see how small they think. Buy the house when you feel it's best for you as there is no timetable in life, it's just a bunch of Suckers follow the one laid out.

Do you, the way you want to do it and you'll find out it will never match up with the masses.

Freeman how do you feel about the subject of moving out. I want to have an apartment, but I have a few cats that run their mouth saying its a bad investment and that I need to get a house ASAP. Then they throw out all these numbers on if I save the stacks for five years how I will have 70stacks. It sounds like this is some middle class thinking though, and I know you said you stayed in apartments. Can you break down your angle on it.

Thanks! I wanted to point out how money will make you have a big head that can be a detriment to your hustle. It can make you think you know it all when that's a mistake to ever think you made it when you know someone is gunning to take your spot. People think they can live nice and build when actually the only thing you can sacrifice when you start is your own comfort.

Man I am lovin the podcasts! Just like Ed, I'm listening to them in the car also.

I definitely agree with the way you laid out the order of business. I think too many people completely forget about how important it is to keep their startup costs to a minimum. Basically (just like you were saying) because they want to boost their ego by having a fancy title and a big expensive brick and mortar operation to impress their friends; instead of focusing on making money. Letting your ego screw you is a real popular sport around Atlanta.

@OTM - Writing the blog is cool but putting voice to words lets people hear that I ain't that different from anyone else. My pedigree makes you think I'm high host but really I still talk the same just when I'm in business mode I'm in business mode. I enjoy doing it because it's uncut so it's really me going in on a topic.

@Ed - Thanks Man! I was going to call it Money Morning Show but Rise & Grind works. Yeah the young cat is doing his thing and he is just exploring other options so I think he is going to figure it out. All business that deals with someone hosting something for you is about connects and networking. I think the cat will put 2 and 2 together and make money!

I woke up this morning and saw your podcast, I didn't have time to listen to it so I burned it to CD for the drive to work.

Brotha, that podcast was the best morning drive I had in a long time! That's what I was talking about when I told people to listen to something productive in the car! All that nonsense about Black radio comedy diversions - please, I eat and breath the hustle game and appreciated that podcast...mind on my money and so on...

To that one brotha who want to throw club parties in DC, he need to take your advice and realize that is a who-you-know game and he need to establish connects and venues and get good with owners and djs. It really ain't skills, it's who you know that makes or breaks club promoters...

I wanted to tell you thank you for putting out the podcast. I actually look forward to it on Monday's now. Like you said some cats read but all people listen. It kinda keeps me in grind mode like you said.
