Ready, Shoot, Aim

Hustle is a reaction to a opportunity and the ability to capitalize on it immediately. So by it’s nature there has to be a lot of on the Hustle training. Money is still made on the wrong corner, at the wrong location, and with the wrong product. If you sold tea on a hot day you might make some money it just wont’ be as much as if you were selling bottled water.
Hustlers are always in a state of readiness, ready to react, ready to get out there, ready to make money. The problem comes from the Brainiac-Sucker in the Hustle. The Brainiac-Sucker wastes time on how things will be presented more than making money. Brainiac-Suckers put the 2 before the 1, put the cart before the horse, and overall see the problems with the Hustle way before they even started it. The Brainiac-Sucker talks himself out of Hustles because he thinks too much about the impossible instead of the possible.
Hustlers know they have to get out there and see what happens. You can’t afford to take some other person word for it or wonder if it will work. All Hustles will work because you are willing to do it. There is nothing wrong with planning and having a strategy but if it stops you from actually getting out there then it’s a problem. You aren’t going to know how to fully reap all the money from your Hustle unless you are actually doing it. A Hustler has to run out there and set up shop. Hustle thinks on it’s feet, adjusts to the situation, looks for the better position and makes money.
Now many a Sucker will tell you to sit down and plan things out but many a Sucker never makes any money. Most Hustles start from seeing it can make money and then opening up shop. The smartest guy in the room usually is the employee of the dumbest guy who just took a shot!
Bottom Line: Everyday you spend hesitating is another day without Money!

I’m a Brainiac Hustler I think about everything! I am so detailed orientated that I can’t sleep right now thinking about all the stuff I have to do. And now that I’m back in school trying build upon my hustle it is literally making me sick to think about all the work I have ahead to bring this potential hustle into being. I’m sick of school already and this is only the second week LOL….Lord, help me. I must stop all this thinking and worrying. Just thought I would rant this out loud instead of keeping it bottled up inside.
Oh well boo whoo whoo I have to suck it up and remember why I am on this grind in the first place, which is to improve the health of black folk and make money in the process. Right? right…
@Freedom – Most people think too much. It’s really them being scared of the unknown so they over analyze till they get to the point of talking themselves out of it. When a person is looking for a way out just like they did as a little kid they will try to make themselves sick so they don’t have to face tomorrow.
It’s going to happen whether you worry or not so why not NOT!
I thought about you today. These two guys have set up this little business washing cars in a piece of the grocery parking lot up the street from my house I’m getting ready for rent. They have all the tools in their van and charge a decent price (I think it’s too little and actually gave them a nice tip) so in a short time they’ve got what seems like some regular customers, especially older retired ladies from the neighborhood. It looks like a nice little hustle: the older ladies (I talked to a couple while I waited for my car) appreciate “the nice young men trying to do something positive with themselves and build something,” the younger women like them cause they aren’t bad looking and they flirt enough to make ‘em feel good while they are there, and they shoot the bull with the few dudes that came along. All us, no craziness, no get over, no drama, everybody benefiting.
@Sassy – The part I like is that its simple and make money. People don’t realize there are a lot of very simple things that make money. The other part I like is that they are located in the right place near a grocery store which makes the average person think of killing two birds with one stone. The last thing I like is that they are able to put women at ease. So many times when men run businesses they cause women to feel they are going to get hit on or cheated. They have conquered that by being below the market and seemingly being respectful.
We can always provide service to each other since we realize what we might think of as a good deal. I’m always happy to read about people who get up and take matters into their own hand. So many people are waiting for a sign when the sign is saying price it low and think volume!
